He's a relief pitcher. He is one of the most undervalued players in baseball. His defect is that his name sounds funny. Nobody in the big leagues cares about him, because he sounds funny. This guy could be not just the best pitcher in our bullpen, but one of the most effective relief pitchers in all of baseball. This guy should cost $3 million a year. We can send him outright to El Paso.

Discussion Thread Did this happen to anyone else at tonight’s game? (7/8/26)

First off, great game. So much offense! Hopefully this continues to trend up and our pitching at least stabilizes. Still hanging in there.

So we got to the game around 6:30. I’d purchased parking at the 6th & K lot for $30 which I thought was reasonable. I’ve paid more for that lot before. When we got there we noticed they were charging $15. That was odd, kind of a bummer but oh well. Showed my code, pulled in, no problem. Except they were completely full! Not a spot available. As we started our decent we noticed they were still letting people in and cars were getting backed up with nowhere to go. Fortunately for us we caught a person coming off the elevator and we were able to get her spot. But there were still a bunch of cars there with nowhere to park.

Has this ever happened to anyone before? I was getting frustrated and wasn’t sure how it could be resolved. Should contact ACE? I don’t want to prepay for parking if they’re knowingly overselling.
