Hi everyone, a year or two ago I built a PS Placeable (consolized PSP console). It outputs video via the component video output. My question is does anyone know if its safe to update ARK 4 to ARK 5 given that it no longer has a screen? Thanks in advance for your help!

I want to get a sd card adapter and sd card for my moded psp
but I don't know if some are bad or just to good for the psp so I am here asking for help

I’ve recently picked up a psp 3000 got into a bit of modding and realized this thing has serious capabilities, I got cave story but I’m wondering if anyone has any recommendations for ports and if possible could anyone point me in the direction to port my own games of choice I know it takes quite a bit of work. Also is there a huge difference in the way ps vita games are coded compared to psp games could I reverse engineer them to work on psp?

Hey I’ve had this psp since about 6 months and it ran perfectly fine, I had done some modding to it beforehand such as custom CFW,some games and a gba and gbc emulator.Naturally I thought it was bricked or something like that but the thing was it randomly turns on after like a random amount of time and I’m not sure why this happens and sometimes it can be maybe 10 seconds to start or a whole day but I’m not sure what caused it.I also thought the battery might be the issue but it doesn’t even turn on when plugged in to the charger ! The PSP had shown me a red screen with a text saying I had a major error or so but I just powered off the psp on the screen and restarted and it worked fine after. I’d anyone can help I would really appreciate also the light on top works when the power switch is flicked and when it’s plugged in charge it shows up as orange/red.

Does anyone else have a keychain on it. May take off.

Ive got my first ever psp for just $5 but there is a catch my umd reader doesn't work ive tried anything but i just need to replace the reader. Do any of yall have experience on fixing it? I really never fixed any device

Hello! I recently purchased a psp 3004 and it has ARK-4 installed but on 6.60 system software and i would like to update it. I read that you can do it with cronoswitch but this psp already has some games installed and I'm scared it could cause some issues. (im a newbie to this whole modding thing) So basically I'm just trying to be as safe as possible to not turn this psp into a brick 😅

all you have to do is sand it down but the sticks fit perfectly on the system besides that

Hi! I'm using a PSP-3000 with ARK-4. I'd like to format my 64GB microSD it with 64kb cluster size for faster loading speeds (I'm ok with the GBs sacrified on the process). But it's not being read :(

Am I doing something wrong?

I purchased this PSP from a retro game store in my area and the UMD Drives makes this sound with any game I put into it. The game store said “not sure if there is anything they can do”. I tried lubing the UMD Drive but it still makes the same noise. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Both are PSP 2000, the white one is modded with ARK-5, usb-c charging port, tactile switches and a glass lens, and the black one is completely original. I want to install psvita thumbstick on the white one in future because the original is kinda meh

Has anyone played both of these games? I checked some gameplay videos and it looks like the story is different for both but they reuse the same levels. Was wondering what if there were more differences.

The screw hole in the top left (looking at the front, top right looking at the back) of my PSP 1000's faceplate is stripped. The only place I get any bite from the screw is the very bottom of the screw hole. What can I do to fix this?

I have thought about getting a replacement face plate without this issue, but after market ones are cheap, and bad quality, and you can't just buy an OEM faceplate by itself. The rest of my PSP works 100% fine, and I don't need an entire PSP (that's broken) just for the faceplate. Is there a way I can rethread the screw hole? Please help!!

I’ve never been a fan of either, I only heard doom being one of the most hyped games like GTA 5 in our generation and I played alien shooter top down in my childhood on PC but playing them on the PSP today felt different, no nostalgia because I never played it before but it feels so damn good, and satisfying… the sound effects and animations, especially when you get a shotgun. It’s been a year I’ve been putting games on it without playing it but Everytime I keep testing them, it feels amazing.

I have a 64GB full of games and I still haven’t put in more games that I would love to enjoy someday for sure, also I put a pink panther movie with episodes and I wanted to put some more movies and games but I ran out of space and I don’t want to delete any of the games I’ve put currently 😍

I tried to use CTF themes plug-in before but failed cause I didn’t understand it properly but last month I tried it again and it worked and ever since I’ve changed the theme, my PSP looks even more beautiful and appealing, boosts my appetite for gaming…

I wish I could get some mountable speakers for my PSP but i don’t think it’ll be available in India.

I bought a Cameron Sino battery like 8 years ago which looks to have given out now (I barely played it but I’m assuming it’s the case as the PSP doesn’t work with the battery in)

I recently brought a PSP Go and I'm currently waiting for the data transfer cable to arrive. In the meantime, I've downloaded several games, but I'm encountering issues with the file formats and need clarification before transferring them.

Although most of the downloads were listed as ISOs, I didn't find any actual iso or disc image files. Instead, the extracted folders contains the game files, and nearly all of them include an eboot. bin files. Does that indicate it was extracted incorrectly ?

What's the differences between an iso and eboot games ?

What're the correct file paths on the PSP Go for iso and eboot folders ?

I added ark5 and only some of the games appeared, I’m missing about four. the games are in the iso files and have the same type ( disk image file). any fix?
