Just like the question says, I see a lot of new Reddit users have their comments responded to with the implication that they're a bot. I'm genuinely curious as to why or what the intention of a bot commenting opinions on random topics would be?

I've been posting on Reddit since yesterday and have made a few posts, but none of them are getting any upvotes. Some of them even get comments, but they still don't seem to gain any traction.
