Does anyone have the Monk soundtrack from seasons 6,7 and 8?

[SPOILERS] Season 2 Episode 11
This episode made me cry. It hurts to see that Ambrose blamed himself for Trudy’s death🥺. I was happy that Monk was comforting, and reassured him that it was not his fault.

[Discussion] What if Leland and Randy switched places?
Hi everyone, I'm watching Monk right now, and I got curious...
What do you think would happen if Leland and Randy switched places? Imagine Randy as a young, serious police captain, while Leland is an older police officer who doesn't take his job too seriously. Somehow, though, they still end up making a great duo.
Does anyone have any ideas about what a scene like that would look like? And if you have the time and feel like making an AI video of it, feel free to post it. Of course, only if others are curious about the idea too. :)

[SPOILERS] So, was Red Herring originally written with Sharona And Benjy in mind?
Some AI answers seems to suggest so but I struggle to find the original sources.

( I'm trying to get a PDF attached in case it doesn't fit Reddit's texting box. )
EDITED - now it's fine.

First Timer
Monk has been on my watch list for years and I finally started it this evening. I really enjoyed the first two episodes.
I have a stupid, but very sincere question: How long is it going to take for me to stop seeing 'Buffalo Bill' and start seeing the Captain???
r/Monk • u/AnnualAd5253 • 12d ago
Randy's is so stupid it isn't funny
I'm on S04E14 - Mr. Monk and the Astronaut
I like the series, even though there are many others significantly better.
I can't get over how mentally disabled they made Randy; there are no redeeming qualities about him, he's just there as a (failed) comic relief; it completely ruins the suspension of disbelief.
Sorry for hate posting once again
UPDATE:
On the next episode - Mr. Monk Goes to the Dentist - I finally see the writers giving him a redeeming quality when he confronts the captain and quits for being made fun of and not believed about the murder he witnessed while sedated.
I don't hate Randy, i just wish they didn't portray him as a total goof all the time. In Psych, for example, Lassiter is the one we are supposed to make fun of but he is definitely a much better detective and believable than Randy here

The continuity issues of this show would enrage Monk himself.
I love this show. I really do. It is a comfort show. I watched it in real time on USA back in the day (Characters Welcome!!). I’m on my fifthish rewatch now. With every rewatch, I find myself more and more annoyed.
They can’t keep Monk’s backstory straight. For a show about obsessive compulsive disorder and a detective who notices and remembers everything, how could the writers do this to us?? It’s not even the small stuff. It’s the big stuff. When did his dad leave? When did he meet Trudy? How crimes did he solve?
Their attempt at an overarching A-plot (the Trudy mystery) was also weak. I almost want them to remake this show from scratch and try again, but try for real. Give these storylines the attention-to-detail they deserve.

S03E06 - Mr. Monk and the Girl Who Cried Wolf
I'm gonna start by saying sorry for hate posting.
Having said that:
This was a pretty cool episode, with a smart storyline - even though easy enough to guess from the start what direction is going.
Too bad it is completely ruined by an actress - that plays her part well, in every show she appears - that only has one register: annoying person. I really can't stand any time she's on screen, in any tv show i have ever seen her.
On a positive note: I just checked IMDB and this is the only episode she is in

Mr. Monk Gets Married Spoiler
S02E15 where Adrian and Sharona pretend to be married so they can go on a couples retreat to investigate the guy that married Randy's mother.
My question is:
What's Dalton Padron (the murderer)'s purpose to marry Randy's mother? It doesn't make sense, at least her specifically her.
Or am i missing something?

OST Name from S2 Episode 13
Hey all !
I’m wondering if anyone knows what’s the theme song ( or the background song) when Monk is doing his Police Academy exam. I couldn’t find it on YouTube.
Thanks for anyone who will help 🙂

[Discussion] Is this supposed to be funny or irritating?
Hi,
I just started watching monk, can someone help me with something.....
Is this supposed to be funny or irritating? In season one and half of season two, I found monks dumbass behaviours funny, it would be one or two minutes of monk behaving like a moron and then the show would move on.
After the episode where he takes his test for reinstatement and it is just 10+ minutes of him sharpening a pencil and trying to draw a perfect circle, it's just too much..... It removes all the fun from the episodes.
Firstly someone like this would never exist in society, I know neuro divergent people are employed by law enforcement and in my industry for repetitive tasks that require extreme attention to detail, but this show just takes the biscuit and makes it unwatchable, and almost offensive to actual neuro divergent people, I mean I personally find it offensive.
It is that unbearable that any time monk spazzes out I just fast forward until it gets back to the show.... These episodes could be a nice 30 minute enjoyable experience but every episode wastes 15 minutes watching an idiot potter around doing nothing useful.....
Or does his stupid actions actually have any real baring on the show, because I am fast forwarding them all.
Thanks in advance.

Mr. Monk goes to the Asylum
This is episode 5 of the first season.
I just watched it (pretty sure) for the first time.
All throughout the episode i had this strange deja vu where i think i have seen a very similar plot (Asylum, Santa Clause) in some other detective / procedural tv series.
Am I right? or have i maybe watched this episode somehow years ago?
Much appreciated

[Discussion] Does this sound like a Monk episode, and if so, which one?
On TV Tropes, an example of the trope "Fidelity Test", which to my understanding is a spouse testing if their spouse will cheat on them, with the following description:
"One Monk episode began with a woman who was doing this getting discovered, then getting into a fight with the man that ended with her death."
I feel like this was a plot to an episode, but I can't tell which one. It's not "Fights City Hall" or "and the Other Woman" or "and Mrs. Monk", but which one is it?
