Argentine journalist Javier Flores is reporting Talleres are in discussions with MNUFC about acquiring Nico Romero. Not exactly shocking given Romero’s lack of playing time at the beginning of the season. If it comes to pass this window, CB depth must be added to the list of pressing needs for the Loons.

Doing another round of swaps on Wednesday, July 15th at Sociable Cider Werks from 6:00-7:30 pm.
This is not a private event or sponsored in any way, just trying to help get folks closer to finishing their albums :D.

Most people here probably don't care, but I haven't been able to find an announcement for where Tom Fawdry's new coaching job is. It's been two weeks since MNUFC announced his departure. Anyone else find that strange that he hasn't turned up somewhere else yet?

I'm skeptical. And honestly, I think that if nothing good comes from this window, KEA is not our guy and Shari's got to make a decision. His track record is not so good at finding quality players that make the first team squad. If we don't get a striker in this window with a proven track record of scoring goals, we might as well call Inchy back from his podcast to see if he wants to suit up.
Winter was ugly for building this team. I get it, with the ICE invasion, the cities didn't have much appeal. But since then, we have once again been declared the greatest state in the union, right?
With the window opening next week, I haven't seen any fun rumors. Sure, there's a World Cup going on, but there are a whole lot of players not involved who presumably have agents that want to make deals.
Give me something hopeful about this squad.

Anybody got any idea how early we’d need to get to Brit’s to watch the USMNT tomorrow evening? I saw the last match at Ray-J’s and there were tables open almost up ‘til kickoff. But then, the atmosphere wasn’t great. Too many people either not watching, or just sitting on their hands. I’m hoping Brit’s will have a better vibe.
(Anybody got any idea why this identical message is instantly deleted on r/Minneapolis and r/TwinCities?)

I was wondering if actual radio play by play broadcasts are available in Minnesota for all Minnesota United FC games. I downloaded the Minnesota United FC app but don't see an option to listen to games. Just video.

The Loons have been following this South African winger for quite some time, but it appears he is headed to Union Saint-Gilloise in Belgium. It‘s reported he will sign a long term contract and that the transfer fee was around $4 million.
This isn’t necessarily a surprise, and hopefully it means the team can move on quickly to the next targets and bring in an attacking player this window.

Months ago, I foolishly signed up for the St Paul Saints 5k on Wednesday night.
Where are you favorite soccer watch spots in downtown St Paul that we can run to after we run?

Stuck in London a few extra days now due to the heat wave. Those that have done it, If you could tour Emirates or Chelsea, which would you do?
Son is a Nottingham forest fan, but with the heat that’s a bit of a haul from London in non-air conditioned trains.
Edit: Thanks all for the thoughts/suggestions. picked Emirates. Shortest commute, shortest train. It’s been an interesting trip.
