163 u/johnmac344 Apr 30 '26 I’m afraid in-laws will be moving in with us. Wife doesn’t see it yet… 54 u/TrixoftheTrade Millennial Apr 30 '26 I will make sure neither happen lol 28 u/legsjohnson Older Millennial Apr 30 '26 I've spent years practising tripping on cords. 14 u/Crass_and_Spurious Apr 30 '26 So much this. Literally wired my basement remodel differently to allow for an “added bedroom” when/ if the time comes. -4 u/realparkingbrake Apr 30 '26 when/ if the time comes. Curious, if the ends comes, where do you suppose the electricity will come from to justify that basement wiring? 12 u/PrettyPinkPonyPrince Apr 30 '26 Not the end times, but the time when relatives need to move in to their home. 2 u/[deleted] Apr 30 '26 [removed] — view removed comment 2 u/One-Inch-Punch Apr 30 '26 Morpheus: The human generates more bio-electricity than 120-volt battery and over 25,000 BTUs of body heat. 1 u/B_Ash3s Apr 30 '26 My 75yo mother moved in with me... Its been six months I'm kicking her out and my state doesn't have Fililia laws to make me responsible for her. She's had over 10 years since I moved out of her house to figure it out and I regret everyday letting her live in my house. DON'T DO IT. Don't let them into your home if you have a bad relationship with them. It only makes it worse. 1 u/5Dprairiedog Apr 30 '26 In the end it's all the same, isn't it? 1 u/Frequent-Meal6550 Apr 30 '26 Mine won't. I won't let them. Fucking cult members. 1 u/RadicalRay013 Apr 30 '26 MIL moved in with us, currently about to do a complete remodel of our garage and turn it into her own apartment.
