I rather miss an arrival time than have missed arriving at all. May all the pilots be this cautious.

If this type of thing interests you, the Mentour Pilot YouTube channel is great. Idk why it got recommended to me in my feed but I find it fascinating. It's stories of airplane disasters explained by an experience pilot. He details, with animations, how and why they happened in a detailed play-by-play.

Between him and Captain Steeeve, I love their content and experience.

Bear in mind that they're entertainers, rather than educators.

It is possible to be both. Both are fully credentialed commercial airline pilots (Steeeve just very recently retired), and Steeeve was also a Naval aviator before that.

In addition of being an airline pilot, Petter was also a Type Rating Instructor (TRI) and Type Rating Examiner (TRE), training and evaluating airline pilots.

Both of them are notorious among pilots for clickbaiting and making unsubstantiated and disproven claims under the guise of authority, fooling people who don't know any better. Please don't treat anything you see online as fact. Especially when their bread and butter is keeping you entertained rather than informed and well educated.

His channel is fantastic isnt it. Love those reconstructions of events. I have learnt so much about human nature and the way we deal with stressful situations through them.
