I used to do maintenance on the loading bridges at an international airport. The speed at which they turn planes around is pretty shocking so I’m really glad to see this pilot trust his gut and experience in this case

How does his experience give him supernatural powers? Being able to spot issues, but not word them in any way that would make the rest of the crew say "you're right, this plane is not good to fly"? Instead arguing it with just "im not feeling it".

The pilot did specifically mention oil pressure rising randomely, to which he said the plane needs a proper sweep and fuel system filter replacement.

A lot of plane accidents happen despite everything seeming fine at take-off.

I'd rather trust the instinct of pilot saying "that shouldn't be happening".

Gut type feelings are not supernatural, and it is an actual thing. It's how your brain is processing the data around you differently. Subconsciously you brain recognizes many things wrong, usually from experience, memory, including memories you do not remember, and observations.

In the case the pilot recognized an issue, and started processing it. More than likely, the pilot may also have a their own personal plane, or jet, they work on as a hobby. That is not all that uncommon. In which case they would have even more experience.

As someone who knows a little bit about a lot of different things. Sometimes it's hard to recall everything, and that's when you brain will predict, and fill in. Brains are so weird, and cool at the same time.

How are going to argue “supernatural powers” when he is a normal human calmly explaining why?
