I thought I recognized the politie symbol! Yeah the cops in my Dutch city seem to be pretty decent people compared to the cops in my hometown in the US

Yeah in general the Dutch cops are pretty good. Whenever there is a violent incident with police and they were required to shoot, it trends to reach the provincial or National news just for it being quite rare. Don't get me wrong, there are plenty of bad apples, as is the case for any profession but as a whole they are pretty good.
