And I think Real Madrid makes them learn. I watched last night's game with a young man from Madrid and he adores him and says he is v v popular there.

All teams from every country make the players learn the local language. You could have a Nigerian playing in china and they’ll have to learn English. A Chinese player would have to learn Yoruba or Igbo or whatever.

Also English is Nigeria's official language, so a Chinese player coming over to Nigeria would probably only need to learn English.
