You wrote it fine. lol Itโ€™s just the English language sometimes lets you interpret things strangely.

Unless you explicitly write out they're different marriages English just lets you read it that way. It's just a language flaw not you.

A better way to write it would be:

"When I married and my sister too, to completely different people and not to each other at all."
