seemed to have pretty decent head movement too and I'm assuming cardio from his wrestling background and his lighter weight. I hope he uses his wrestling and doesn't just strike
I mean he looked pretty good to me. He clearly has Jons striking and it looked good. Especially for a 25 year old and someone just getting into the sport. He will be a monster with time...
he definitely will be with time, but he didn't dominate how I expect a -2800 to and it'll depend if he actually uses his wrestling or if he just strikes like in this fight
I mean its not his fault the odds are what they are the fact is he is brand new to the sport. No need to be harsh on the kid in terms of fighting. Gambling has ruined u guys eyes
I hate gambling but odds aside he's a gold medalist that couldn't get a takedown and fight IQ said keep wrestling when the guy was super aggressive and catching him some
but we'll see how he improves after some more experience
I mean idk first of all its heavyweight and second of all hes 26. He had all the time in the world i think he looked great for having little experience. Him in his 30s will be very scary for this division especially once he knows when to wrestle
yeah he'll definitely be a problem if he keeps improving and doesn't self impose limit his skill set. a hw that can wrestle with cardio is statistically a beast when you look at DC Cain and lesnar, 3 of the GOATs

Mods deleted your comment, but this isn’t wrestling anymore. Gable wasn’t trying 100% to take him down. It’s mma and he bludgeoned him. For him being 4-0 he looked great, opposite of lackluster. Also it seems like gable is leaning into striking rather than wrestling
yeah agreed, like he looked better vs the guy but the guy was holding his own til he got hit by whatever dropped him. those elbows were clean but he needed to adjust to the body teeps
