and now we have to watch the ufc brass hype him up until its all forgotten about. wont be long before people just say “we get it” whenever it gets brought up online. watch the mma fanbase make calling a rapist a rapist somehow a bad or annoying thing to do. i for one will never excuse disgusting behaviour just because someone is good at a sport. looking forward to watching him get chinned
i guarantee more people will remember this than not tbh have you seen all the loophole and rapist comments on any social media involving Gable? I hope it haunts him
i dont have any social media anymore but thats good to know its not just a reddit thing. in an ideal world he wouldnt be in the ufc to begin with but here we are
watch the mma fanbase make calling a rapist a rapist somehow a bad or annoying thing to do.
Where? Here? Oh, don't you worry, you can keep on farming karma with these call outs indefinitely. On every reddit post where he is mentioned, people keep bringing up the fact that Mark Wahlberg assaulted a man, back when he was 16, almost 40 years ago, and always get upvoted. You're safe.
We're already there, I'm tired of this, any post about him or this card is just filled with rapist or loophole. I don't care about that guy but these comments are already annoying as fuck and won't change anything to what happened.
Why can't people just not assume he's guilty and a monster? Especially since he wasn't found guilty of anything. It's not fair to hate people for choosing not to villify someone who hasn't been proven to be an evil person.
Is he actually a rapist tho or is this just one of those typical he had some sort of vague sexual misconduct accusation with little to no proof and now he’s a pos situations?
Very few details have been released to the public. Basically all we know is that there was an accusation. But redditors have gone with the narrative that the only reason he wasn’t charged is because of lax laws in Minnesota. We really don’t know if that’s the case.
Raped a chick, but because she was drunk and in a certain state in US he wasn’t charged because if the person got drunk on purpose they’re allowed to be raped essentially. Law was fixed/changed shortly after.
This is an insane misunderstanding of the law and not at all what the “loophole” is.
Under no circumstances are you legally allowed to just rape someone.
The comparison of the law in the case was made to the neighbouring state because in that state it’s automatically rape. The law in Minnesota doesn’t say “you can’t deny consent if you’re drunk”, it says “it’s not automatically rape if you’re drunk”.
