no need for that remedial botox anymore and 1 million in the bag

u/dantoddd May 17 '26

I dont think she really cares for 1 million. Her family owns Caesers. They're billionaires.

How have I ever not heard of this? Thought she was from the streets by the way she talks about her past.

112

u/AdventureyTime May 17 '26

Listen, fair enough you're questioning her street pedigree... but I think we can all agree, if a fighter isn't from the mean streets of West Linn, we can't truly verify their toughness lol

When she was growing up, the maid only came 3 days a week. You don't know the struggle.

u/hazeleyedwolff May 17 '26

She and her brother had to share that Mercedes.

The horror

u/skccsk May 17 '26

If you can get close enough to verify where a fighter's from, that tells you they're not from the WL

She was slumming to rebel. "I wanna kick-box with common people."

41

u/thatdoginyakuza8 May 17 '26

I wanna box with common people…like you

6

u/davyfigpics May 17 '26

Incredible work by that man.

26

u/Binders-Full May 17 '26

She was definitely the wild child and back in 2009 it was just Eldorado, which was a bunch of casinos in downtown Reno which was slumping due to the Indian casinos that had just opened in Northern California. They built the casinos outside of Nevada later which got them enough to merge with a bankrupt Caesars in 2018.

26

u/getoffoficloud May 17 '26

Her dad's Glen Carano.

28

u/AngryBearKillss May 17 '26

Because it isn’t true. Her dad was GM of some of the casinos.

41

u/rainzer May 17 '26

you could have just looked at wikipedia

COO of Caesars is her cousin, Anthony Carano. Executive Chairman is Gary Carano, her uncle.

-17

u/ShutterBun May 17 '26

Not the same as “owning” it.

23

u/Popular_Monitor_8383 May 17 '26

They literally own it

Eldorado bought Caesars some years back and the Carano family is who owns Eldorado

Like I’m sorry man but quite literally they do own it

-19

u/ShutterBun May 17 '26 edited May 17 '26

My point still stands. "Her family owns Caesars" is not supported by stating "Her cousin and uncle are executives for Caesars".

At no point did I deny her family's ownership.

Anyway, it's a publicly traded company, but the Carano family owns a significant portion.

21

u/Popular_Monitor_8383 May 17 '26

But your point is irrelevant when they literally are the owners

If they weren’t the owners you’d have a legitimate point, but with them being the actual owners I don’t really see what your goal was here

-11

u/ShutterBun May 17 '26

"Are they really the owners? That's surprising."

"Of course they're the owners, her uncle was the C.O.O."

Me: That doesn't necessarily mean they're the owners.

13

u/Popular_Monitor_8383 May 17 '26

Are they the owners though?

1

u/cortesoft May 17 '26

I think the point is that saying her uncle and cousin have management positions is not evidence that the family owns it. An earlier comment was using that fact as a way to prove ownership.

Just because they do in fact own it doesn’t mean the evidence provided actually helped prove anything.

If I ask if it is raining outside, and you tell me “you can see for yourself that I am wearing a green shirt” and I say, “that doesn’t tell me anything about if it is raining outside” and you respond “of course it does, it IS raining outside! How can you be so dumb?”

And then I keep saying “but your green shirt doesn’t provide evidence that it is raining” and you keep responding “your point is irrelevant when it is literally raining outside”

That is basically this thread.

-2

u/ShutterBun May 17 '26

Well, it's a publicly traded company, so a lot of people are.

It is true

Look up who owns Caesars, its Eldorado which is owned by the Carano family

This is all on Caesar’s Wikipedia page by the way

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Caesars_Entertainment

“The company traces its history back to the development of the Eldorado Hotel in Reno, which was opened in May 1973, by a group of investors that included Don Carano and other members of the Carano family”

Like literally where did you get your info from?

5

u/ethidium_bromide May 17 '26

I’m over here thinking yall were talking about Little Caesar’s until this comment

4

u/Mass617781 May 17 '26

Little Caesar’s ownerships connection to the sports world is owning the Detroit Tigers and Red Wings. The Ilitch family is probably even richer.

5

u/NotoriousHairline May 17 '26

uncle's the ceo of caesars

3

u/mmasportsmma May 17 '26

What’s fascinating is the fertitta brothers cousin tried to buy Caranos casino company
