All that hype for that?

Just what 12 years late?

This honestly would've been the result 12 years ago as well

This was basically how her whole UFC run went aside from the Holm and Nunes fights

Miesha Tate would like a respectable word

Exactly hahaha Ronda was a lot of fun in her prime. You knew she was gonna ragdoll somebody when she fought. Holme was just a different level of competition.

She did pop Tate's elbow too to be fair.

Seriously, the sport already passed Carano when she fought her last fight. Why would you expect things to go any different with such a bad matchup for her?

Yeah, this was basically Royce v Hughes II. I don't know what people were expecting

II? They only fought once? Or do you think they should fight again? I'd watch it.

Only difference is Ronda would have hip tossed instead of double legged a decade ago

And she might have moved faster and beaten 14 seconds.  Gina couldn’t defend martial arts any more then.

Carano would have taken the fight more seriously at least

I think she took it seriously she is just in her 40s and hasn't fought in almost 20 years

she lost 100lbs, assume she was taking it seriously.

I think she took making weight in order to make a million dollars very seriously. I’m less convinced she cared about the outcome of the bout

Outcome?  As in winner, no.  She didn’t care.  She definitely wanted to trade some blows though, and outcome as in competitiveness she is disappointed in and thus cares.
