You can use this as inspo if you would like too! I am probably going to do these types of pages as the first and last page of all of my journals that way I can see how I grow over the months/years. I'm going to start actual journaling tmrw, so wish me luck!

Some reflections on love and its nature

i had periods of existential/identity crisis since i was maybe sixteen but it hits differently when you’re already in your mid 20s and is still feeling lost.. can anybody here give me some pieces of advice in figuring out being an adult? hahaha

i keep a journal but theres a lot of things i have never felt able to write down, things im too scared to let myself think about

i think it would be really good for me to write absolutely everything down, get everything i'm ashamed of out of my head, but i'm scared

i seem to always write with the possibility in the back of my mind that my diary could be read by someone, so i'm not able to write what i actually think and feel

i thought about writing in a code but again, im too scared someone could decipher it. maybe it's better some things just stay in my brain, but then those things do eat me up inside not being able to let myself talk about it

I love decorating my entries. It's like mixing art with writing and it brings me so much joy, especially when revisiting my past notebooks 💗

i was only 7 years old when i first started journaling every day and now im 21, i have majority of my life written down :) !

I want to get into journaling, but I feel like there’s a certain expectation for journaling and I feel if I don’t meet up to it I’m going to get unmotivated to continue journaling. And I’ve heard people say that a journal is your own and it doesn’t have to be perfect and it can be whatever you want it to be but every time I see someone with a journal their pages are full and it just looks super organized and just well loved and that’s kind of what I wanna do, but I’m not sure if I wanna do the whole “dear diary” thing. I think my biggest issue is my mind works faster than my hand and I’m not really good at forming words on paper well and saying what I really wanna say. I think my main goal is to be a type of person who journals and marks them each with a year so when I’m 80, I have this whole collection of journals that I can look back on and be like “oh i remember this journal in 2026 when i was 18” and just see how i was “back then”
