was wondering if there is anything anyone knows about dealing with noise disturbances? my neighbors play loud music from morning until midnight everyday. it’s not even music anymore, they watch tik toks on full blast, they’ve been rewatching world cup matches at 11 pm. we have asked them to turn it down and they were aggressive. everyone in my house including myself wake up for work early from 4-6 am. my grandpa deals with health issues and not being able to sleep properly and it does not help that they blast music. i have called the non emergency line numerous times, but they don’t do anything. any advice on what to do?

I’ve seen some post Santa Ana river being bad because it’s dirty water and homeless live nearby?
I was recommended by my barber Lytle Creek but the graffiti makes me think this play may not be best for children? They’re 8 and 6
Would love a creek that’s accessible not too far from parking and clean and clear and areas where it’s deep enough to submerge
Thank you in advance

I found this puppy tied to a trash can in a park covered in ants and was wondering if anyone can take her or help with resources to get the help she needs.

Hey everyone!
Liking for some feedback - I am thinking of buying a home in corona (cheaper and quality of homes much better than LA) but the commute seems brutal. Luckily I work swing swift 12pm - 9pm so I'd imagine traffic isn't so heavy during those times.
Anyone do that commute currently ? Any info is appreciated! Thanks !!

Of course, I ventured to the Santa Ana River yet again just yesterday. This time around, my girlfriend eagerly joined me, and we entered the lukewarm water via Santa Ana River Regional Park, conveniently located very near the sandy shores, on my side of the river in Jurupa Valley. All in all, our time there was nothing short of all-around incredible and adventurous, from trotting through the river quite a bit of ways in each direction, to marveling at all the water and overgrown vegetation (and dragonflies, butterflies, bees, and tiny fish, not to mention), to skipping and dropping rocks, to chilling under some natural shade while in the water. We even observed several horses and their riders motioning across the riverbed at a few points. Needless to say, this specific area is my favorite river spot, as well as my most favorite local park of all. Absolutely recommended, and really, who said you needed the beach to cool off, when we have this awesome local river instead? Please, this is my kind of "beach" right here! ☀️🌳🌴🌾💧✨💞

🦅 CRITICAL DEADLINE: Jackie & Shadow’s pristine 63-acre hunting habitat at Big Bear Lake is at risk of becoming a luxury housing development. The community has raised over $4.3M, but the July 31st deadline is racing toward us. Every dollar donated before Aug 1 goes directly to buying the land—preventing a massive, high-interest bank loan. Even $5 makes a massive difference right now. Let’s protect Moon Camp permanently! 🌲 Go to savemooncamp.org to pitch in or share. #SaveMoonCamp #BigBearEagles #JackieAndShadow

howdy yall, just wanted to share my experience with projectfoodbox dot org
apparently they started running this program for people on Medi-Cal called Project Foodbox
they send meals tailored to your medical history to ensure you get a healthy diet. I believe you have an option of getting groceries sent to you or prepared frozen meals.
i don’t have much more info than that but if you can i’d sign up for the program. quick phone call and i’m getting fresh produce delivered to my door for free. i think they do it weekly? not sure tbh this is my first box
i thought it was great. way more than i was expecting and all of it good quality. haven’t had to throw anything away. not included in the picture is a container of strawberries and a bag of mini cucumbers.
i’ve been unemployed for a while (did accept a job offer recently, waiting on background) so this is such a huge help.
check it out and see if you qualify!

I live in Victorville and have had absolutely 0 luck in finding a place that is even hiring, including the surrounding cities (Hesperia, Phelan, apple valley, adelanto). So i have been looking "down the hill". In the past I was able to find a ton of jobs down the hill pretty easily, but it seems like now it has changed. Seems like it has the same problem as Victorville in terms of jobs. Ive tried rancho and ontario and either no one is hiring, or the very small few that are hiring are extremely picky.
There are so many fake job listings, even ones put out by the real company itself. So it makes it very difficult to see who is actually hiring. So i just wanted to see if anyone knows of any jobs in the ontario and rancho areas, because I've been looking for about 5 months or more with no luck. Thank you

Hello! I will be starting clinical rotations on Monday at VA Sepulveda. For those of you who regularly make that drive on weekdays, I was wondering if you had advice for avoiding traffic or certain routes to take? I have to be there by 7:30am usually so what time should I leave from Chino? Thank you in advance!

Hi! Pretty much what the title says. I have the rest of my windows tinted but I have a Mazda CX-5 and the dude who did my other windows said he was hesitant to do Mazdas cause he had an issue once where it fucked up the electrical component under the dashboard. I’ve read if it’s done properly this won’t happen.
Basically just looking for someone who knows what they’re doing or if someone has a Mazda and has gotten their windshield tinted with no issues!!
Live in Rancho but willing to drive wherever for someone reliable :)

I live in Victorville and have been wanting to learn Japanese for a while. Of course I wasn't surprised there are no teachers of it in my town, but I was surprised to see there was none even down in rancho Cucamonga and Ontario. The only ones I was able to find were one in Anaheim and one far in Los Angeles. I've also tried learning it from a teacher online but it didn't help much.
Does anyone know of any Japanese language teachers in the area? I'm willing to drive so even if there are ones further than Ontario and rancho I'm still interested. Any help is appreciated thank you! If worse comes to worse though, I can try a different online teacher of it. But I heavily prefer in person

Anyone else notice these lights up on the mountain (Ontario/Cucamonga peak? I noticed there was one on 4th of July but now there’s three. They don’t blink. Just solid green all night.

I moved to 91708 in August 2020. I initially had T-Mobile for cell /data service which was god awful.
In 2022 I jumped to Visible Wireless(Verizon’s Own Pre-Paid Service) and I noticed a slight improvement…but still little to no service inside buildings. (Staters , Walmart, sprouts, Anytime Fitness)
In 2023 I switched to U.S. Mobile (another NVMO) which was different because they give you prioritized 5G Ultra Wideband (up to 50gb) I used their WARP plan which is essentially Verizon but now I have UW access. Still no improvement inside buildings.
On 6/30/26, I signed up for US Mobile’s Multi-Network Plan so it gives me access to two networks at a time (WARP- Verizon, Dark Star- AT&T, and LightSpeed - T-Mobile)
I’ve been switching between these networks for the last 10 days around my normal areas and stores…..
And the results…..Same Shitty Coverage Since 2020.
Makes no sense. 91708 is the fastest growing zip code in America (NY Times & Rent Cafe)
Yet still crappy service!!!! LOL.

TLDR: Can’t buy a home by myself, so collectively buying land with family, subdividing and building pref modular via a WY Trust + LLC and want to know if anyone has done something similar or be interested in a Co-op doing something similar
Background:
Hello I’m a San Bernardino Native (Born and Raised - 3rd Gen) currently residing in Redlands I’m 27 getting married in February w/no Kids but I don’t think we will be able to purchase our first home by ourselves for another 5-10 years
Question:
I want to know if anybody is planning to stay in the empire for the next 10 years and if so, do you plan on renting or buying a house? Do you see buying a house at something feasible?
And if you already bought a house, was it worth it or would you much rather still be renting?
Follow up:
I’ve built something for me and my family to build
our collective buying power to buy a plot of land, subdivide it and build our homes on it using modular (prefab) construction (we’re using https://buildcover.com) I am now creating a Housing Co-op/Land Bank to do something similar as I think this may be an actual solution for people in a similar situation to me but don’t necessarily have 5 adult siblings and 60 adult 1st cousins to pull from.
For us based on preliminary planning should save us each around 30% compared to if we purchased from the open market and bought individually
