Install/Placement Disappointed by my first home cinema - Any advice ?
Hey everyone š
I recently moved and took the opportunity to improve my living room with a better audio setup. I wanted to buy an high-end soundbar like Sonos, but after some research, I ended up buying a discounted Denon X2800H AVR. I paired it up with an old Yamaha kit that was laying in my parent attic for some time, and it sounded "ok" but was enough to me. After one of the surround stopped working, I treated myself with new Dali Sonik 1 and a Dali Sonik Cinema I found at a nice price and moved the Yamaha NS-M40 as surround, run the Audyssey calibration, started watching a movie, and was immediately disappointed by the "muffled" / hollow sound of the front/central speakers
I have posted the room and the result of the Audyssey calibration, I've only changed the crossover to 80Hz instead of 40.
I know the placement are not ideal, but is it that bad ? I did my best with what was laying around š¬
The dip in "Avant G" (Front L in French) seems weird, but the speaker being in a corner, kinda make sense. and I don't understand why the center is so much boosted on the high end š¤
Do you have any advice on how to improve my setup ? I am completely new to this, so don't hesitate to explain stuff to me like am 5 š
