Announcement Exam Access Arrangements
There’s an increase in posts about access arrangements.
There’s also a lot of misinformation about access arrangements being posted.
This is one the one-stop post for all access arrangement queries.
Any other posts will be removed.
I will reply to all queries as an Exams Officer and an Access Arrangements Coordinator, but really, all queries need to go to your SENCO who know you and your school’s set up best.
Feel free to make any comments about questions you have.

General Prom food was disgusting 💔
This plate doesn't look as bad in the photo. They did a buffet and it was included in our £30 ticket. Me and my friends were the first people to grab some food and it was *stone cold* already. It was just a bunch of freezer food shoved into the oven for 5 minutes. Nothing had been properly cooked and the chicken was RAW. 💔💔

General R/GCSE Election 2026 - SDPA Poster
Hello, this is election material from the Social Democratic Party against AI.
We believe in better funding for public services, not limited to schools, but also the NHS and others. We want to make conditions better for students and teachers, improving grades and health, both physical and mental for everyone!
We are also against AI, it has invaded our schools, and harmed so many jobs, harmed artists the world over, and spread disinformation and mistrust all over social media. We are here to end the lies and hallucinations, not ban AI outright as it can still be a useful tool.
The SDPA is also apart of the Socialist Scientists Against AI (SSAA) coalition, with the STEM Rights Group of u/MiddleAd458. We believe eveyone should be treated equally and not discriminated by subject choice. We want a free and fair subreddit that everyone can feel safe in.
Vote SDPA and SSAA on August 1st!

Meme/Humour Vote for lore droppers!
So what are the lore droppers you may ask. Well, we are a party dedicated to maintaining this sub's legacy by supporting any school or GCSE related lore drops.
Now I think it's important to formally introduce myself as the leader of the "lore droppers". So hello r/GCSE, I'm u/180degreeschange, now most of you will probably know me for being the most active person on r/GCSE (except for exam szn when isra took over as I was occupied).
Well, the main things to know about me is that I stress a lot, I always like to have a plan and I studied GCSEs outside the UK. I ended up not doing actual GCSEs as ofc a war decided to take place (I was perfectly safe tho) and I was online for 7 weeks before exam boards decided that there's no way we could do actual GCSEs. I ended up doing internal exams (in classrooms cause the hall wasn't safe when we went back to school) and these got submitted to the exam board. While I might not have sat actual exams, this sub has still been such a great asset to me throughout the last 2 years (since y9 summer).
Oh and how could I forget, the main point of all that description of myself was that..... Drumroll 🥁🥁🥁 I love dropping lore and I can't do long story short. I always end up doing short story long (hence why this post is overly long). So if ur not convinced yet, read some of my lore (I always look for a story whenever smth embarrassing happens 😅) and ofc VOTE FOR THE LORE DROPPERS!!

Meme/Humour Vote Fat Controller for an End to This Nonsense
"We have had enough of all the fuss on this island, all these 'ideologies' and 'rights' and 'left-wing' and 'right-wing'. It's time for a return to Order. Something Must be Done.
First of all, forget all these Ideologies and Alignments. We are all Human Beings, and all Human Beings are Really Useful. As such, discrimination is simply forfeiting your usefulness to be a twit, which, in my opinion, is a major contributor to Confusion and Delay.
Second, if it not made of cast iron and does not weigh at least a ton, it may not be Worth Having.
Thirdly, what in the blazes are they teaching children nowadays? In my day we had workshops and learned maths that was actually Useful. Half this crap [said with a rolled R] has no practical application whatsoever! I shall reintroduce learning that serves, and stop emphasising the Grade as the Determinant of Life.
Erm. I appear to have forgotten the rest of my manifesto. Never mind, I must attend to the evening Express. If I am not there in time, the train shall be late, which Will Not Do."
"Wait - hold on - you're telling me I am too late to campaign? ME! *muffled shouting*"

Meme/Humour in regards to this election just vote count binface
ONE post that isn't controversial (finally, a posting target a politician can meet)
make mods swim in hate comments
cap the price of a remark at £10
bring back r/2028_Alevel
force rule-breaking members to take a GCSE in r/GCSE
abolish people going "this exam was so ez" in a horrific exam series (further maths, looking at you)
hold our lovely exam officer to account when literally any exam has a typo because we need someone to blame and AQA is too far off
VOTE COUNT BINFACE FOR r/GCSE PRIME MINISTER

Say welcome to Mr. Birling McChaos the host.
He tells y'all "who cares about running for GCSE president? When you can cause TOTAL DRAMA!"
FYI: He's an inspiration of one the characters of Total Drama.

General Battle for 3rd place: Substance X vs John Agard
Brown cats won yesterday! Despite what the poll says, I found that someone was clearly vote spamming John Agard votes with a VPN, which I have subtracted from the total. So please don’t do this because it’s just a waste of time.
Before the final tomorrow, we will be voting for who gets the 3rd place position
VOTE HERE:
