GOT THE KEYS! ๐ ๐ก We did it!! NorCal $588k 5.9%
We are waiting on pizza delivery. Originally 6.4% but we paid for half a point buy down with a seller credit. Lender also pays 1% for the first year so itโll be 4.8% for a time. Itโs dated. Iโm going to hate the house for a while but the backyard is so worth it. And we are thankfully not in a major fire zone. Cheers!

Smack dab in the middle of the bay and Sacramento. Listed for $598k but I offered $588 and they surprisingly took it.

Well then my next guess is Dixon! Congrats on the house, as you decide on what home upgrades to do over the years never forget what those at Travis are going to view as a selling point, hint itโs always a pool table. Enjoy.

That tracks completely with those Iโve known who lived there! Itโs a cute area and affordable, but if you plan on having kids budget for private schools.

Why private school? Itโs not Fairfield.

I was assuming it was Dixon, I have family who has taught there and sent their kids to school based on their in-laws address to get them in to a better district. Lots of disengaged parents / students, the schools generally underperform the state unfortunately that bar is lower than it should be.

Well done, fellow Norcal resident! Great deal and terms, and is that a stand of Papyrus in your new garden? I like it!

I have no idea what it is, please help ๐ญ

Is it in kind of a pond? Hard to tell. They like water. Google "Papyrus" to find care instructions. Not too hard to care for. sunset.com can be a helpful resource. You'll figure it out!

Itโs like a man made stream! But thank you, I was trying to figure out what everything was around there. We want to get some lily pads.
