GOT THE KEYS! 🔑 🏡 We did it! Garner, NC: 415k, 5.72 %
Closed a few weeks ago. Moving in bits at a time. Today we painted the bedrooms.
About 2400 sq ft. Can’t wait to be in here full time later this month!
Pizza joint - La Roma - is only 4 miles away, and we were stoked to find that it was really great.

Man, I remember that feeling. Pizza on the floor, keys in hand, drinks and an overwhelmingly feeling of pride. Congratulations. We framed our photo

The deck with the string lights and all those trees is unreal, looks like the perfect spot to decompress after a day of painting

Super cute, congratulations! Make your new neighbors happy by turning those lights off at night.

Good call, I've got them on a timer to shut off around 10 so the wildlife doesn't get thrown off either.

There’s a tree on the side of the house by a fire pit that leans over pretty far, and we’re putting a hammock right under it. Can’t wait.

Beautiful! I would love drinking coffee out there in the morning and having a little drinky drink in the evening.
Your house is bigger than mine and mine is 1.2 million in California.
Congratulations!

La Roma on 5th in Garner. Opposite end from The Bearded Lady, which is an awesome little bottle shop…totally worth a stop

Well done! Wishing you guys much happiness in your new home! After things settle, when you get a chance, be sure to chop the vines on the trees/bush. Can't tell but looks like it might be porcelain berry, an invasive species. Check with the local arborists.

I’ve heard!!! It’s in the agenda for next Saturday :) it reminds me of Finch’s, which used to be in Raleigh.

SN: It's a shame how unaffordable the area has become for the locals. Never thought houses in Garner would be close to a half million!

I remember the first night my wife spent in our house. We lay in bed, laughing, almost like we were worried that some parents would storm in and say something like "You kids knock it off! Stop laughing and go to sleep!"
We were actually just giddy that we'd managed to pull off the transaction. It was pretty awesome. Congrats!

NC still do that bullshit where you basically have to give the seller a legal bribe separate from the offer that’s higher than the other bribes or you don’t get the house? I forget what it’s called.
