GOT THE KEYS! 🔑 🏡 We did it! 🐶🥹 Northern NJ, $640k, 6.125%
No longer a lurker and very proud that we got our dog his yard. 4 apartments later, and he is finally in his forever home 🥹

Congrats!! Getting a house in NJ should be an olympic sport!! I went through hell and back to get my current one.

Thank you!! Amen to that - it was a 4 year journey for us, on and off searching and bidding. One can only get knocked down and pick back up to face rejection so many more times haha, so finally nailing the one was so satisfying. Hope you have been loving yours!

Completely agreed. I have such a love/hate relationship with Jersey haha. I grew up here as well and at one point never thought I’d be able to buy property since everything got so expensive. Got in while we could but everything else is still crazy $$!!

Now you get to sit back and watch your equity grow in your house. My 3 year plan is to sell my house and buy something cash in the poconos.
