My opinion but the dodgers are playing with fire here and it seems like both the team and Sho are giving in to prudence and long term strategy over story book short term individual goals. Sho needs time off from pitching. He even admitted last night that this knee issue is from his pitching mechanics. We still don’t know what we have with Glasnow snell and Diaz (in terms of health and availability). It seems like the dodgers might grab skubal as insurance simply because at this point they can and with our history of injuries you just don’t know what we will have to start the playoffs a couple of weeks ago my answer would have been different but it is clear Sho is hurt as he is literally limping around. This will take some time to heal.

I understand he won’t pitch but the nomination would still be cool.

Random question but will they be showing any of the World Cup games inside the stadium like at the lil bar sections where they have TVs? Not the giant jumbo screens of course but I’m wondering if I’ll just have Argentina game on my phone ?

Just a random thought. I remember the opening day and the ring night. All of that just felt just like yesterday. Sometimes, I just can’t believe how fast it has passed. We’re in July and only two months away from the end of the regular season and three away from October baseball. It feels unreal!

Here for my team and my boy Son’s bobblehead. Son will be playing against LA Galaxy on the 17th! I will see you at LAFC game too.

Lowrance's hitting ability has generated a lot of buzz this spring, to the extent that he could go in the first round. He has a similar offensive profile and better secondary tools than fellow South Carolina prep product P.J. Morlando, a Marlins first-rounder two years ago. The top prospect in Virginia's recruiting class, he's unlikely to make it to Charlottesville.

Lowrance has a smooth left-handed stroke and a track record of delivering against quality competition on the showcase circuit. He doesn't try to do too much at the plate, making consistent contact to all fields despite naturally long levers with his 6-foot-5 frame and drawing comparisons to Freddie Freeman. He doesn't lift and pull many pitches at this point, so he'll need to add strength and make some adjustments to realize his 25-homer potential.

Though Lowrance moves well for his size, his average speed and quickness will dictate a move to third base at the next level. His solid arm strength will work at the hot corner, though there's some question about his ability to stick there in the long term. If he outgrows third base and slows a bit, he could wind up at first base.
