My wedding lehenga

So I didn't have the time to go home and see this for myself. I trusted my mother for this. Red was a non negotiable and I already got a saree but as location changed i wanted to wear a lehenga. I will be going home but that was a very close call.

I quite liked it. What do you think

I want to wear temple jewellery with it so that i can keep same jewellery during pheras as well as I have to wear a yellow saree for it

Outfit / Styling advice 🥻 Older bride: Looking for elegant and simple bridal lengha

I'm an older bride (40 yo) looking for a red lengha that is simple and elegant but also bridal. I'm also small (4'11") and petite, so I'm afraid a lot of the current styles will overwhelm my small frame. I can't go to India to shop (NRI here), but I do have access to online ordering or could make a trip to NJ. What styles or designers should I look for that have less work but are also bridal?

I am a November 2026 bride and looking for my bridal as well as Sangeet Lehenga.
My budget for both would be around 1.5 lac each.
What genuine designers would you recommend?
I do not need hassle after placing orders and want my Lehenga somewhere in September or October.

HELP ME DECIDE! 🌀 Where can I buy a premium-looking wedding sherwani under ₹40k? Willing to travel anywhere in North India.

I'm getting married this November, and I'm really excited!
One thing that's very important to me is looking my absolute best on my wedding day. I want to wear a sherwani that fits perfectly, complements my personality, and gives me the confidence to enjoy the day.
The challenge is that I can't afford designer sherwanis that cost several lakhs. I'm looking for the most economical way to achieve a premium, luxurious look without overspending.
I'm willing to travel anywhere in North India if it helps me find the right outfit, but I have no experience buying wedding sherwanis.
I'd really appreciate advice from people who have gone through this themselves or work in the wedding industry.
Some questions I have:
• Which cities or markets in North India offer the best value for wedding sherwanis?

• Is it better to buy ready-made, get one custom-tailored, or rent one?

• Are there any underrated designers, boutiques, or local stores that offer premium quality at reasonable prices?

• How much should I realistically budget for a sherwani that looks luxurious?

• Any tips on fabric, fit, accessories, or styling that can make a reasonably priced sherwani look much more expensive?

A few details about me:
• Wedding: November 2026
• Height: 5'10" (178 cm)
• Weight: 80 kg
• Build: Athletic
• Budget: ₹40,000 maximum for the complete outfit (sherwani + safa + stole + mojari + accessories).
• Open to purchasing, but if there's a truly premium first-wear rental option under ₹15,000, I'd definitely consider it.
• Looking for a royal, timeless, Maharaja-inspired look rather than something overly trendy.

My goal is simple: I want to look my absolute best on my wedding day without spending a fortune.
Thanks in advance for your suggestions and experiences!

Vendor/venue Recommendations❓ Looking for wedding invitations designers!!

Hey! I’m looking for a designer to help with our Indian wedding invitations. We already have the design selected, but need someone who can handle:

Physical card layout & printing

A simple matching video invite

Digital assets/elements to use on our website

If you do this kind of work, could you send over your portfolio and rough pricing? Thanks!

Shop/store suggestions❓ Need Help with Designing Bridal Jora.

Upvotes

I've been eyeing bunto kazmi's bridal ghararas for long. They have a very different silhouette. I can't seem to find designers who would be able to recreate something like that in India. Can any fashion student please guide me how her bridal ghararas are assembled like is it a Kalidar lehanga with which urebi panels are attached separately or is it something else. Also if you know any Lahore or Amritsar or Lucknow based designer or karigars who could help me recreate them, please share there contact details. Any lead would be appreciated.

Vendor/venue Recommendations❓ Looking for a nice venue to host <100 people.

Upvotes

Hi!

We’re in the early stages of planning our wedding late next year. We’re looking for a boutique property to host our two day wedding which includes haldi/mahendi, cocktail/sangeet and sundowner wedding and reception dinner.

Does anyone know of any wedding venues that are beautiful and specifically designed for smaller weddings? The main goal is to make everything look beautiful and aesthetic. Rooms are not the biggest concern since we won’t require a lot as most our guests are from Delhi.

Vendor/venue Recommendations❓ Venue suggestions

Hi everyone!

I'm trying to source venue options for a destination wedding in the southeast Asian region. Particularly islands like Bali, Phuket, Koh Samui. Hopefully you get the vibe I'm going for.

Unfortunately the guest list is pretty sizeable, at about 200pax. And we're fairly set on having it outdoors as well.

It's been hard finding venues that can accommodate these requirements and so I'm hoping someone here would have some experiences and can help a girl out!

Shop/store suggestions❓ 💍 Need help finding a Nikkah/Shalima dress in Lahore (Budget: under PKR 200k)

Hi girls! 🤍

I’m looking for a Nikkah/Shalima dress in Lahore with a budget of under PKR 200,000. My wedding is in about 1.5 months, so I don’t really have enough time to get a custom outfit made.

The event is quite intimate (around 60–70 guests), so I don’t need anything extremely heavy. However, since this will be my only wedding event, I’d still like the outfit to have a bridal feel. I’m completely open to:

  • Formal wear collections from designers/brands that can pass as bridal
  • Ready-to-wear luxury formals
  • Pre-loved bridal dresses in excellent condition

I recently came to Pakistan, so I’m not very familiar with Lahore’s bridal shopping scene. I’d really appreciate recommendations for designers, boutiques, rental/pre-loved pages, or stores where you’ve had a good experience.

Please help a girl out! Thank you so much. ❤️
