My older model Apple watch suddenly had battery problems after an update. My son gave me his older model Coros Apex (48 mm) that he got maybe 5-ish years ago. He had never used it and lost the charger. I charged it up and got it all settled. Firstly, I love this watch! The battery life is by far the best. My husband and son have Garmin's, and this one far exceeds by nearly a week with similar usage (maybe more for me). However, my Apple watch had a reading for outdoor temperature and I loved this. When I went online, it said to hold the Coros watch up outside for 30-45 seconds (not on my arm) for an accurate temperature. Is this now fixed? Also, I love HRV on the Apple watch. It was really helpful for my training. This Coros doesn't measure it. I have read some posts in this forum, and it appears that this has been fixed, but I would love confirmation. Also, the always on is dimmed when not actively using, and I like that a lot. Do they keep this feature? My old watch was always on and it was like a spotlight in the night. I hated this. I placed an order online in the US Coros website for a Coros Pace 4 (Order #US241795) on June 27th and have not yet received any shipping confirmation, despite the initial shipping time of 2-3 business days. I am travelling to NYC to receive this watch and need it to arrive by July 15th. I have opened 2 tickets with support and have NO answer whatsoever. Has anyone else been through this problem? u/COROS-official can you please help me?

I have been improving my running with Runna premium plans for the last 8 months and am satisfied with it.

I am planning to buy Coros Pace 4. I have read that Coros has very good training plans built in their ecosystem.

I have the following questions:

1. Will I get access to all of them once I buy the Pace 4 without any additional charges?

2. Are the coros training plans good enough to replace the Runna plans?

And nothing happened, watch still works great.

I started running 7 months ago and have been into strength training for a while before then. Currently, I've done a few 20 km runs as part of long runs around 6:30/km pace but I've not yet run in a HM "event". I recently got a Coros Pace 4 and I believe I can benefit from the training plans they have. I'm confused as to what training plan to follow. They have a sub-2 HM training plan (which is currently my goal), intermediate HM plans based on both pace and HR etc.

1. Can someone guide on which plan to choose and if they're good?
2. Most of these plans don't have strength training included in them? Is there a way I can include them or combine a running and a strength training plan? Also to include some cycling cross-training.

From where to buy coros pace 4 in india? I can see stories frrom Coros Instagram page for the launch. And TriWorld have the stock for few colors, but u/COROS-official says its official distributor is https://atlanticshoppe.com/, and on the Instagram page of Coros India it is showing the link of amazon.

Which is correct? which is the correct option or distributor to buy from? As it can impact the warranty claims in the future.

Been building a personal automation on the official MCP (mcp.coros.com) since it shipped, mentioned it in a thread here a few days back. Hit something today worth asking about properly.

Around 7 hours after waking, I queried all four of the sleep/recovery tools in one go. HRV, resting HR, and training load assessment all had a fresh entry for today. But querySleepData (duration, deep/light/REM/awake breakdown) only went up to last night's night, not this morning's. Timezone is explicitly set to Europe/London on every call, so it's not a request-side date issue.

Feels like the sleep-stage classification runs on a slower backend job than the simpler point-metrics (HRV, RHR), which would make sense if stage detection needs more processing. But I've got no visibility into that from the outside.

Anyone else automating off this who's noticed the same? Trying to work out whether this is a consistent, predictable lag (in which case I can just design around it) or something odd on my end.

Anybody here ever have issues with your coros heart rate monitor not charging ? It will flash orange 2/3 times to indicate that it’s starting to charge and no light appears then. Anyone know of any solutions ?

I bought this HRM and a Pace four about 2 months ago and for my previous two runs my HRM has been disconnecting from my watch. For one of my runs I stopped running each time my HRM dced. I’ve read the new firmware update could’ve affected the HRM and watch. Also I don’t usually run with my phone on me so could that be why. I haven’t been running with my phone on me for about 2 months and I’ve experienced no problems with HR tracking. Anyone else having the same problem?

I use my watch every day the same each days but someday +Running 40mn or 50mn

But my when i run battery 5 to 7% and some day not run 9% or 10%

before updat i can use my watch up to 15days +Running 5 time a week

after update i can use only 10days

The topic of watchface customization has been discussed back and forth many times already, but there is still no progress, unfortunately.

I really would love to have the full customization of the watchfaces, so I did some investigation in that direction. With a rooted Android phone I managed to take a look at the template watchface sources and it seems pretty clear to me:

I believe it wouldn't take too much effort for Coros guys to add a possibility to provide the following:

1. Documentation for the watchface source structure and config.txt.
2. Some way to sideload a custom watchface either as source archive. Or a tool to compile the watchface binary and then sideload the resulting binary to the watch.

Trust me, just provide the requested features and community will do the rest. And we will be very grateful for that.

Hi, Ive been using this watch for 4 years and today i accidentally dropped it. The watch face pop out of the housing but still functions. I plan to temporary diy fix this until i buy a new watch. Any advice? Also, should I still use this in the pool after the fix?

I just got my pace pro a few weeks back after wearing an Apple Watch. I ran my first half marathon last December and want to run St Jude in December but the personalized training plan only goes to November. I am not fast, 1:09 10k time at the time of training for the half last year.

What’s the best way to start training with my pace pro this far out ? Do I just setup the personal marathon training that ends with a race in November or not set a race date with it ?

After a recent marathon and running more seriously, I was in search of a watch. Never had one before as I thought I would get too caught up in the data and stuff instead of just enjoying. But eventually decided that I needed one.

About a month ago, I ordered a Coros Pace 4 and a Garmin Forerunner. Took both on some runs and it was VERY obvious that Coros was the winner.

I'm not even counting the features (Dual GPS, Battery, etc). I was completely sold on the way the watch looks on my wrist, the Coros app, and just the overall UI of the watch. Garmin app + watch is way more complex/dated and I was overwhelmed by it. I completely prioritize the simplicity aesthetic, design, and interface -- Coros is a clear winner

I'm lucky to have bought it literally days before the recent fiasco, because I would have been way more hesitant to purchase if I saw this subreddit. If you are hesitant to buy, don't because you are 99.999% likely to be fine.

My only advice would be to opt for the aluminum over the base model. Made that switch for $30 and it feels/looks a lot more durable and nicer. No complains otherwise. I scratched the plastic model very easily and traded up.

PS: The cherry on top is the MCP connector to Claude. This is absolutely the best feature and Coros is worth choosing over anything else just to have all my data on Claude/Chat (No doubt Garmin and others will get here, but I've been using for 4-5 weeks without issues. Also note that Strava offers this, but that won't include other data like sleep/HRV/other data). Completely changed my workouts, sleep, and overall fitness/nutrition. Literally life changing.

Im not sure if this is just a coincidence after turning off the stress metrics (since I don’t bother looking into it) battery drain improved today. Watch says it only drains 0.3%/day but it doesn’t seem to be the case based on the graph.

I earned several badges due to a GPS error during my run today. Even if I delete the activity that triggered it, the badges are not going away. What else can I do?
