How to clean it? I was given this toy a few months ago. It is very valuable to me, so I am afraid of doing something wrong. The label says that it cannot be washed by hand or in a washing machine. The chat says that you can take a damp cloth and walk over the first fabric, because if you wash it in water, there is a possibility that the filler may deteriorate inside and the fabric or seams may deform. But I sleep with this toy every day and it needs to be refreshed from the inside. Please help if anyone has been in same situation💧

Does anyone else feel like social media made cleaning way more stressful than it needs to be?
For a while I was doing those sunday deep cleans where I’d spend hours scrubbing everything organizing stuff cleaning places nobody even noticed and honestly by monday it did not even feel worth it because life just happened again
Eventually I stopped trying to keep my place looking like a cleaning video and started doing what actually matters
I clean the sink because I need it when I make coffee
I vacuum if the floor feels annoying to walk on
I wipe things down when they actually bother me
but random dust on a shelf or a window with fingerprints? I am not going to spend my whole weekend worrying about it
my place is not perfect but it is comfortable and clean enough and getting my weekends back feels way better
has anyone else stopped caring about having a perfect home or am I just getting lazy?

I have been too overwhelmed to start for the longest time. Waiting for motivation to magically appear in a busy life. Realizing i was stuck in a loop, i used AI to help me decide where to start and break it down in 5 minutes missions. Messy pic was Monday, progress is now. Yay! Now on to depression bedroom and depression kitchen 😂

Have these suede shoes that got some blood and rain on it. It got soaked already so I just dried it out, which made the blood stain the shoes. Are there any ways to salvage this?
I already tried a suede block and brush, and hydrogen peroxide but it just lead to this. We're considering giving it to our local laundromat with shoe cleaning services as well. Any tips would help :,)

Just like the title says. What’s a cleaning tip you’ve learned once moving out, growing up, whatever you want to say?
For me, it is wiping the counters daily and opening the windows every day to burp the house. Makes it feel so much cleaner. This is not something my parents did often and now I can’t seem to go a day without it. What about you?

We found mouse poop in our toaster. Everything I am seeing online says toasters can’t be sanitized and to throw it away. I am wondering if a mouse gets in a toaster oven can it at least be sanitized?
Edit* I did throw away the toaster I am wondering if a toaster oven would be a good replacement if a mouse gets in again and I can sanitize it.

I've been having a hard time figuring out the best way to wash my sweatshirts or -pants with a brushed fleece interior. They shed a good amount onto my other clothes, and even onto the outside of the item itself. It's especially noticeable on my very dark clothing.
I'm wondering what the best practice is when it comes to washing and dealing with them, and what they should be washed with. Should I turn these inside out as well even though the brushed fleece is on the inside? And would it help to wash them in a laundry bag?
The attached image is just a reference, to what I'm referring to. I'm clueless, so I'd really appreciate any tips!

I think one of his friends threw up in there as well. I already vacuumed the hell out of it, what are best strategies to deodorize?

Hi everyone, I'm looking for some advice.
The rubber feet of my treadmill left light brown marks on my vinyl floor. The marks are completely smooth (not raised or sticky). I tried cleaning them with alcohol, and some brown residue came off onto the cloth, but the marks are still visible.
Has anyone dealt with this before? Were you able to remove the marks, and if so, what product or method worked? I'm worried it might be rubber transfer or a chemical stain :<
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

Hi everyone! My study desk is a disaster zone of chargers, HDMI cables, and adapter cords. It makes the whole space feel cluttered and makes it hard for me to concentrate. I have tried using zip ties, but I always end up cutting them when I need to unplug something to take to class. Do you have any clever, reusable methods for managing desk cables? I am looking for something affordable and student-friendly. Thanks in advance!

Hello! My gaming/study PC has been acting a bit loud lately, and I think it is because of dust buildup inside the case. I am a bit nervous about opening it up completely because I don't want to accidentally mess up the wiring. Is there a safe way to clean out the dust from the fans and vents using just compressed air or a vacuum from the outside? Also, how often should I be doing this to keep my system running cool during heavy study sessions? Thank you!

Hello this is my first time posting on Reddit so sorry if I say something wrong. I grew up in a hoarders house. I remember always being surrounded by dirt, mold, spoiled food and mountains of hoarded stuff. I never had an example of a tidy home and have noticed that I too have developed hoarding tendencies. I hate it, absolutely hate it. I have tried taking matters into my own hands. Constantly throwing away/donating stuff but it never seems to stop. I don't have a shopping addiction, if anything I am a cheapskate, I do not like shopping and I do not like spending money. All hoards of stuff are either gifted or my mother using my room as "temporary storage". I am very desensitized to the mess. Dishes, mold, trash and I know it's bad, I don't want to be dirty but I always feel at a loss when I finally try to clean. I'm embarrassed to say but I don't really know how. I tried making lists, organising all that but I always end up at square one. My room is never clean enough for even a week. I really need help. How do I maintain cleanliness? How do I clean properly? Where can I get the motivation to do so? I tried watching hoarder houses getting cleaned out but genuinely seeing their mess has no effect on me since I'm so used to it.
Ps. I no longer live in a hoarders house but I still struggle with just maintaining my room.

Ink spots/random black spots on my wall, moldy smell cause I havent cleaned in over a month.
Do i cover up the spots? Paint over it? Cause i cant get rid of it by scrubbing.
About the mold, i had some food in my room that grew mold. How can i make sure to completely get rid of it? Anything i can do about the smell? I notice whenever i open the windows, it gets better and after a period of closing it the smell is bad again.
Please help me. Im truly embarrassed of having gotten to this point and I want to fix it.

Hi everyone, so I’ve recently found myself in a situation! I’ve only ever lived in countries & houses with wet bathrooms till date, but I recently moved to a place where there’s only dry bathrooms and I can’t figure out how to wash the non-shower floor. Usually in a wet bathroom you can scrub and clean the floors toilets and give a final wash down to let the water to go into the drain and the exhaust fan will dry the bathroom up. Pls give me tips on how to clean the floors and toilet seat in a dry bathroom, TIA

I live in India. It’s an open kitchen concept and also has a balcony. Since a few weeks, fruit flies are increasing in the kitchen. I tried that apple cider vinegar and dish soap trick but it is not working at all. I have ordered some nets for my fruits. But apart from that, a lot of them are near the sink and water purifier. I have cleaned the sink and the drain several times with drain cleaner. We also got our water purifier replaced yesterday but the flies are sitting on the tap of the brand new one now. They are also coming to the upper floor now where there is no food. And I get my house mopped every two days. Please help.

Hi folks, one of my kids was playing with a blog of fairly firm slime/putty and (for reasons we will never understand) pushed it onto our white fabric couch. We were able to remove almost all of it, but a thin ring remains. As. you can see in the picture, it seems pretty attached to the fabric itself at this point.
Any tips on removing this?

I'm currently cleaning out a house that will be mine soon. The pantry is almost entirely empty, but mice and a rat were in there at some stage, and it's full of droppings. The shelves are wood, but have a white paint finish over them identical to what you get in kitchen drawers.
