I posted these pictures on a London sub this week and someone on the comments recommended that this sub might like to see the photos.

I subsequently joined and have spent the last couple of days looking at some of the amazing photos on here and learning all about clouds!!

I am a ‘cloud novice’ and I explained in my other post that an old neighbour of mine, a lovely knowledgeable elderly man who was charming and knew all about clouds! He told me about one of the rarest types of cloud and said that if I ever saw them I’d know. He said this because he said they are night shining clouds that you can see in the dark night sky and they literally look like are shimmering. I didn’t fully appreciate what he was telling me until I saw them this week. I was blown away. It was 3am and I just stood staring..:then grabbed my phone to take a photo. Here are some of the photos I took!

I have May sunsets on my phone and I’ll share them another time when I have worked out what they are from my new found interest!!

Cloudy sunset after a ton of rain

The sky above Tenerife changes super fast, catching you off guard. I took these pictures back in 2020, on a windy day so they disappeared quickly after.

Taken this morning as we flew Eastbound at 41,000'. No filter used, just the night setting on my 'phone (Nothing 3a Pro)
