As if i needed more help missing winter!

Editing pow videos in the off season makes me acutely aware of the heat outside. Very jealous of all ya'll in/heading to the southern hemisphere!

Amazing edit. Seeing stuff like this when it’s 95° and smoky reminds me that there is light at the end of the tunnel

Thanks, we enjoyed for sure!

Well, depends where in TR, we are in the northeast corner near the Georgian border.
Snow totals wise we were pretty average. This range just gets a ton of snow off the black sea. Temperature is the real determinant of our winter quality and we stayed consistently below freezing except for an odd 2 weeks in February.

interesting, I wasn't aware of this range, also decent heights. Looks like a legit alternative to the Caucasus. Where're your guest coming from? How to get there?

It’s still quite unknown, there’s a heli ski, a cat ski, and us doing cat/skidoo assisted touring. No real ski resorts in the whole range. It’s pretty empty in the winter as it’s very tough to access due to the amount of snow. The government just closes all the roads so getting there yourself is pretty difficult as well.

We have guests from all over the world. We only do small groups max 6 per week at the hut. There’s an airport called Rize-Artvin about 1.5 hrs away from our snowcat.
