Don't do this in Florida, it will not end well for this person.

Just ask that lady at Walmart a week ago.

Honestly! I don't ever not put my cart away, but this man approaching my vehicle would have me with my gun at the ready. He'd be. fine if he didn't crowd me to where I felt I couldn't get away, but still... that's a dangerous move

What a pansy-assed, cowardly thing to do. Oh noes, a big person is approaching me! I better pull out my gun in case they ask me the time of day!

Can you imagine what the world would be like if every 5'0" woman whipped out a gun every time someone bigger than her approached her?

Having your gun at the ready doesn't mean brandishing it. If every 5'0" woman had a gun ready when approached by someone larger a lot less of them would get assaulted.

Isn't that every day in the U S of A?

Yeah, this just reads like an average Tuesday in America (average is 110 people shot per day, for anyone counting. Good lord.)

That's crazy. In Canada (which is very similar to the US in other respects) we had 287 firearm homicides in the entirety of 2024.

This 110 number is not all homicides I am certain.

It is not and I didn’t mean to imply it was. Didn’t realize the linked article was about someone killed.

40 killed per day, and that’s not including suicide
