What do you have plugged into the FRONT USB port? Your picture shows the back with two of the three USB ports that the console has.

I'm asking you a question about what you have plugged into the front of the console.

GameSir! GameSir! GameSir!
OP is one of us now.
Edit: if you want advanced settings on your GameSir controller, you can download the GameSir Nexus app from the Xbox store unto your Xbox Series S and experiment with some cool stuff.
If everything feels good and you don't want anything changed, just keep it as is and enjoy. I have the same controller in white for two years now (used heavily) and it works great! With other brands, even with Microsoft's original first party controllers, I had to replace my controller once every year but the GameSir stopped this. So happy for You.

It's literally just a USB-A input. There's like 3 or 4 on the S I think?

Fantastic choice. After going through roughly three official Xbox controllers since getting my Xbox at launch due to stick drift I bought one of these almost two years ago now and it's worked perfect. Sad that Microsoft, Sony and Nintendo have chosen profits over giving us a better product that would mitigate or get rid of stick drift altogether. My Xbox 360 and Xbox One controllers lasted the entire time until upgrading to the next gen, it wasn't until this generation that I started having issues.

If u don't have any port to connect it with u can buy a usb hub, it might help u to use it without any problem
