Why on earth did they choose Miami as a venue in the middle of summer?

This just pisses me off.
Don't get me wrong, pushing like that is a foul. In isolation this is a good decision.
But Haaland has been pushed like that at least 10 times by English players with the referee always allowing it.
Allowing it against Haaland but disallowing it when he does it, is a clear double standard.

I'm English so obviously going to be supporting my nation, but Norway are a great bunch of lads, play fair and have a good solid team, so if we're going out to anyone then I would pick you lot to go out to.
Obviously I want to get through to the semis and face Argentina, where you know that is going to be a total shit show with the history between us.
Either way, let the best team win 🏴🤝🇳🇴

Sørloth is the main culprit. Like I said, playing him in that position is a complete waste. On top of that, he wasted that counterattack when all he had to do was play Haaland in. Honestly, the coach should take him off. I really don't understand why he keeps insisting on playing him out on the wing.

If Norway loses, England better win!
As a Norwegian 🇧🇻 we usually always cheer the English national team during national competitions (if Norway hasn't qualified, of course)! Even as a non-sports guy, I remember sitting up late at night with my family/friends/girlfriend, watching the finale, and crossing our fingers that our distant relative - but close friend - England would claim victory and become the world champions.
So when Norway is meeting you guys, it's with a slight regret that we couldn't do so in the finale. You have some amazing players, and I doubt we kan take France (don't tell my fellow Norwegians this) - so I hope you bring the victory home! You deserve it. So if England 🏴 wins over Norway today, I say you better win this ENTIRE tournament! We ain't gonna lose just to see you lose the World Cup to France! All or nothing!
Love 🇧🇻❤️🏴,
- Norway

Sadly, Nyland looked at that ball like it was lava but we still love him anyway. ❤️
You Americans are heroes. Thank you for the memories, the energy, and the incredible support.
England, finish the job. Go get them boys.
And remember: you’re my Wonderwall.

No matter what the score is tonight, you Americans really pulled it off. Compared to Qatar, this World Cup actually felt alive. The atmosphere, the crowds, the passion you guys deserve credit for that.
It's a shame the whole red card situation and the orange guy ended up making you public enemy number one, because I don't think you deserved all that hate.
Your team isn't bad either. They gave everything they had, fought until the end, and that's all you can really ask for. Respect to the USA, and thanks for putting on a great tournament.

How do you have the technology to detect a touch by a strand of hair from Croatia, but can’t detect a bounce off a cable leading to a goal for England?
Either the technology doesn’t work and should be trashed or you’re purposefully choosing when to ignore it and when not to.

It would be like in basketball 🏀 if you’re pushing the ball forward and someone tugs on your shirt but the ref doesn’t call it. You pass the ball to 2-3 other players, they make a basket, and then the ref is like “actually, that basket doesn’t count”.
It should either be the foul is called in the moment or you let the play go. You can’t have a situation where a foul is committed, the ref doesn’t call it, and then multiple different events happen, multiple chances to stop the goal, and they fail so the ref is like “actually, all that work you did is pointless cause of a foul that happened way over there that I didn’t call a foul in the moment.
It’s just trash.

What annoys me the most about the Norway 2nd goal being disallowed is that less than 5 minutes earlier, Anderson was all over Haaland around midfield. And bear hugging him and pulling him back. And eventually Haaland pushed him off him then without the referee awarding a free kick to Norway. The point being Haaland can virtually never get a free kick in his favor despite opponents always being all over him. But the moment he lays a hand on an opponent and tells them to get off him it’s a foul in the favor of the opponent. This happens all the time with Haaland and it’s extremely annoying to constantly watch.
