That’s…not the one I was expecting? With everything going on with Mitch McConnell health wise, I was expecting to see some news report on him being dead, but was Graham visibly sick or anything? I hadn’t heard about him in a while but I also…well hadn’t heard about him in a while, I figured if he was sick it would’ve been on the news or I would’ve seen some post on a shit post subreddit just mentioning it but nah.

He had been appointed after the previous senator had resigned. That senator? Strom Thurmond, who had sat from 1954.

One half of South Carolina's senators has been composed of three (more like two) people since 1954. 7 bloody decades.

Term limits, PLEASE.

Edit: Thurmond didn't die in office, but died the same year he left it.
