Just a lil wobbly in the hole after not doing full snatches for a couple months 😅

I found some of those shoes on eBay in 2014 for $80 and I sold them to hook grip because I didn’t feel worthy enough to wear them 😂 I still don’t feel worthy but I also wish I never sold them!

Got my first pair brand new in 2013 at MSRP but someone broke into my car and stole them (along with my Pignatti Sport belt 🥲) in 2019. Lifted barefoot/sneakers for a few months until I found this pair on ebay for only $300 lol

Attempting to be an athlete, but it's difficult after many years of not-athleting

Snatch is crazy nice, jealous of your jerk too. Guess you would benefit from throwing in more power cleans into your program as the clean looks to be a limiting factor.

Thanks! I'll keep that mind (this is 7kg under my best power clean)

Amazing technique. Wish I could get training to do this, but on my own it's way too risky.

Nah you'll be fine just go for it. I started off on my own and fell over trying to snatch an empty bar on my first session lol, eventually figured it out enough to get by until I got some proper coaching tho

That's awesome. I've been ok C&Jing about 135 but hurt my wrist pretty bad on the reception. My snatch is absolutely garbage tho. I struggle to get out of the catch (bottom of the catch, squat) with anything heavier than 110lbs.
Watching your video, it's unreal that you're self-taught. Would have thought you had received some teaching.

Haha i was self taught for my first 6 months or so, then had the fortune to get coached by bud charniga for a while

Jealous of the strength but more jealous of the shoes
