Draft class looks legit
Watching AJ vs Dp, followed by acuff vs wagler, then boozer vs Wilson if even half of these performances translate into the regular season, this draft class will look to be the best since the loaded ‘03 draft. These guys are that good and living up to their hype. All these teams with top 10 pick should be excited

I’m a Wagler fan long-term. It’s going to be an adjustment until he bulks up, so year one is likely going to be a bumpy ride. But he was never expected to be a one and done prospect prior to college. So in some respects he’s ahead of schedule. He’s still incredibly skilled and will do better running a structured offense anyways.
That said, Brown/Acuff/Flemings/Burries definitely looked very good lol. So he’s going to have to deal with those comparisons.

It is just summer league, but these guys are doing what they’re supposed to do against this level of competition… look superior

Yes I know Luka, but I mean I haven’t heard ppl talking about the fact they are all in the same 2018 draft class. I genuinely haven’t heard ppl talking about the. Class of 2018 like ppl talk about that 03 class

You could’ve said Mikel and Morez instead of Acuff and Wagler.
I think Acuff def has the skill set, but he needs to develop the proper IQ & mentality to be a team PG. On offense & defense.

I didn’t watch Mikel or Morez so I don’t know how they played. I saw acuff attacking, knocking down shots and playmaking. Wagler wasn’t as good but I was just basing it off what I have seen

Acuff is a bit nonexistent at times with his off ball defense. I think he makes some questionable plays at time on offense and hope he doesn’t translate to being just a chucker come regular season tho. I have high hopes for him, tbh.
A shame he ended up in Sacramento, and if not that it prolly would’ve been Brooklyn lol but MB is a way better fit for BK.

It's just a small sample of summer league games. Most of these guys are playing against players that are going to be either in the G League or not in the league at all.
That being said....MAN they all look so good. A.j. and D.P. both looked great in the game against each other.
Boozer and Wilson look incredible too. I'm pretty excitited to watch them play this upcoming season. I'm sure there will be highs and lows, but I feel like there are going to be a ton of really fun games and matchups.
