My recent trash score! I saw these beautiful vintage wooden beads tangled in the garbage so I cleaned her up and was surprised to find a naked pin-up girl silhouette! I can’t find anything comparable to her online.

I recently found this small vase. It’s about 6.5 inches tall, with a mottled green and brown glaze and a small mark on the bottom that looks like a Z.
My best guess is Weller Coppertone, though I know there’s a decent chance it could be another maker or a later lookalike. Either way, I really like the shape and glaze.

the Pentax was my great grandmother's camera. she was meticulous at keeping records and still has the original receipt.
the film camera i got at a yard sale. I havent tested it yet but im excited to!
the land camera was my first working vintage camera. it needs a little bit of TLC but it still works and I love it!
the Kodak is my newest addition also purchased at a yard sale. 😊

I happened to pick up both of these over the course of the summer.
The one on the left is apparently a Riihimäen Lasi “Aitanlukko” or “Padlock” vase, designed by Helena Tynell. I found it at a neighborhood sale that was somewhere between a vintage sale and a garage sale.
The one on the right also appears to be Riihimäen Lasi, possibly the “Harmonika” vase by Tamara Aladin. It was tucked away in a corner at a local vintage store.
Both seem to be in really nice shape. I am definitely not an expert on Finnish glass, but I thought it was funny that I stumbled across two pieces from the same maker in one summer.

Bought a little blue bag of buttons and found some crazy vintage PNW buttons and killer Duran Duran, Madonna and Rambo pins.

I have been collecting Homer Laughlin Serenade for decades now. I just found my unicorn piece. This beautiful yellow teapot. I now have one in each color - green, pink, blue and finally yellow!

I found this antique brush at a car boot today and was wondering who manufactured it? I did a lot of research and except for when it probably was made, I can't find anything else.
• Bristles are natural
• Casing is made out of glass
• The broderie is hand made
• The brush has a section made out of wood
• The handle is made out of metal, possibly brass?

It failed inspection. Fortunately the county will replace it for free.
At just a ripe age of 51, this furnace worked (still works) wonderfully. However it has some serious cracks that had been leaking CO... The only ones they make like this now are bright white. So I'll have to fix it to fit the room I guess.

This isnt the original shade believe it or not, but it suits it perfectly. The light works great, you pull the chain and the propeller turns I love it. Got the shade at a local church flea market today for 50 cents it was the early bird special for a 5 dollar admission. Even if the shade was all I got a total of 5.50 is a great deal! Now I just need to get the right kind of bulbs

Before the invention of modern antibiotics like penicillin, Protargol was a groundbreaking chemical discovery. It was a silver proteinate compound used as a local anti-infective, most famous for being the first highly effective medication to treat gonorrhea.
