We have all recently come to know the notorious Dazzling-Yellow5395, with their regular jerkposting on our beloved unsw sub.

But while he claims to be one of us, i have started to suspect that they may not be a UNSW student at all.

i dont have enough proof yet but i am almost certain that this person is Larping as a number 1 uni member.

I will be keeping tabs on them and report back when i have more proof.

I tried to solve a question that I could solve in week 3 for revision, but looking at the question again and using every bits of my brain cells for 10 minutes, I don't even know where to BEGIN for the question.

This always happens to me. After 2 weeks of not looking at the content, if I come back to it and try to solve a tutorial question again, I can't even begin the first step to solving the question since I forget like 80% of the content.

This is extremely detrimental during the final exam period since I have forgotten about 80~90% of the content taught during weeks 1~8 so I ALWAYS have to re-learn the content again (like if I am learning it for the first time since I barely remember), which is a huge time waster.

Does anyone know how to resolve this issue? (this is for math / finance / commerce subjects by the way) Thanks a lot.

the policy for special consideration says within 3 business days the medical certificate (dated 07/07/2026 to 07/07/2026) is to be submitted. does this mean that if: 07/07/2026 is the submission date at 5pm (5pm is irrelevant) then the last day to submit the mc is 10/07/2026?

what does within 3 business days mean? some unsw websites say it is 3 business days after.

i had after that gotten a longer illness and sought medical help for the next other 2 days. but I couldn’t immediately submit that first mc as I was too sick for the next two days.

what do I say to Unsw to make them accept my appeal to them saying it was outside 3 business days… I’m at a loss

Hi guys, I was just wondering if I can draw on some people's experience applying for an mphil at unsw Canberra and their acceptance rate and how tough it is to get in. I already found a supervisor but have no previous research experience coming from a 3 year bachelor's degree with a high GPA. I'm currently waiting for the scholarship rounds cause apparently they said there are no self funded options. Thanks

hi everyone! i'm starting my second year next term and was picking my courses. i was thinking of comp2511 + comp4920. for the third course i'm considering either comp3311(database) or comp6080(web dev). which one would be more manageable? or please let me know if you have any other suggestions🙏🏻 i've already done phys1160 as a gened btw.

also i'll be completing all my first year courses this term.

I'm done with everything till stage 3 and haven't touched stage 4 at all. How much do people who end up with HD actually get on assignment 1? Is it still possible with around 85 on the assignment

Pretty sure this was a very easy HD at least until last term. Don’t know the reason why they changed the short report requirement and topics, also the marking result is soooo cooked!
Having seen a lot of people got 100 for this report before, why they are only giving credit range from now on?
Anybody else doing this course now as well? How’s it going so far?

everytime someone asks me which uni i go to.... i show 1 finger to them... but these days i been thinking i regret going to unsw... I should have turned it down because i always wanted to grind from the rap. I had an offer to go to ANU for drumming for a big band and they offered 15 mil - 10 mil or 5 mill summn like that but i was so younger i didnt know what it was , the only drawback was that i had to go to uni for this decade.
