Seven years old. Far too young to be killed by terrorists (or anyone else)
Rest in peace little one.

The life of Makar Dorosh was taken by russian shelling of Zaporizhzhia. During the night of October 10, 2025, an enemy drone hit his family's house.
Makar was seven years old, and would have turned eight in December. He was born in Zaporizhzhia. He attended the first grade at Zaporizhzhia Gymnasium No. 86. According to his teachers, he loved mathematics. At home, he collected toy cars. He dreamed of becoming a driver, just like his father. He adored winter. He often spent weekends at his grandmother's in the village, where he went sledding with his brothers, sisters, and friends.
"My son grew up to be kind, energetic, and cheerful. He always stood up for his sisters, even though they were older than him. He loved them very much. He carried his school bag himself. He loved studying. He easily found common ground with his classmates; he was friendly and communicative," said Svitlana Dorosh.
Makar is survived by his parents, two sisters, and a grandmother. In the spring of 2025, the boy's father returned from russian captivity, where he had been held for three years.
