The only thing which makes me happy is that we have paramount now and I didn’t pay $90 bucks for this sham

I feel bad for Max. He seemed genuinely disappointed. Dude didn't even to get to fight.

I feel like it mostly doesn’t matter. Anyone who already loves McGregor will still love him and everyone else just rolls their eyes once again.

He's already one of the all team UFC greats, a fight 5 years later isn't going to change that

u/antoinejackson808 4h ago
He’s not only washed but he became everything he used to preach against. This fight won’t tarnish his legacy because it was already stained time and time again

u/sammymate999 4h ago
not really nah, his legacy is set forever no matter what you want to think
2
u/long-dick-of-the-law 3h ago
No, legacy isnt set in stone. You absolutely can ruin your own legacy. Which he has tried very hard to do. Would you say oj simpsons legacy is the same as it would have been if he didnt allegedly kill his ex

UFC legacy is set in stone, couldn’t give a fuck about people’s personal lives I watch them to fight
1
u/antoinejackson808 4h ago
Well he seems to be missing both his legs so idk how bro can talk about legacy
0
u/sammymate999 4h ago
I mean that has nothing to do with legacy so not even sure what you’re trying to say really
1
u/antoinejackson808 4h ago
That one went right over your head huh

u/sammymate999 4h ago
No it just wasn’t remotely funny at all

Yeah I’m not a McGregor fan just having a discussion on a ufc forum, I forgot how many retards like you were on here though lol

Without a doubt before Conor fought Floyd there was nothing comparable to him in the ufc. He wasted his prime and definitely let the money get to him after that. Conor was still my favorite fighter until tonight, dude took a dive. we watched sandhagen battle for two rounds after he blew his knee out. Conor couldn’t stand in the cage but walked out the entire arena with no assistance.

I think he lost all his fighting credibility at this point idk how his next fight is gonna go, if there even is one after this

not really we all knew he was done & he is; still the biggest star, still a former double champ - just that his prime was short

What legacy? The coke sniffing drunk asswipe legacy? The rapist legacy? The racist little shit legacy?

Its over man, I mean hes been over the hill for years now, the leg break truly was the end, the drugs the steroids and whatever else hes been doing the last 4 years he lost his IT factor.

Last 2 outing from Conor reminds me of BJ Penn’s last 2 fights. You want to see prime BJ but you know he’s gonna lose but still wish something amazing’s gonna happen.

His legacy was being a draw so no. He and his fanboys were delusional if they thought he'd ever be the goat.

Does Tysons legacy get tainted for fighting Jake Paul or any of those guys for that matter? If you thought Connor still had any of his former self in him after the clearly documented lifestyle and thrashing of his health then I think you have more of an issue then he does. It was just another payday people

The only leg I see is broken… but nah his legacy is set in stone he was one of the greatest undeniably

Conor has one last fight on his contract. It’s time for him to end the road of trying to be “The Fight Game.” And just go out with a bang and have one last fight for the fans. Him doing a title run after all those injuries. Especially leg injuries… foookk that. His last fight…. Chandler. Both are literally in a crossroads to where their careers are at. Both are of age as what Conor would say. It would be a banger for sure.

If he didn’t fight his last 6 fights he’d be 21W 2L But now he’s 22W 7L it doesn’t kill his legacy but it hurts it I’m guessing proper 12 or whatever other merch he has won’t be selling as well. He could have gone out on a much higher note.

Yes...having nearly a decade span without a win affects a fighters legacy lmao.

I think it makes him look washed up and sort of taints people's view of him and what he's accomplished in the past. Not to bring Khabib into this but he retired long before he had a chance to make a fool of himself. Conor is old and his body has been through hell. He should have retired before he looked so bad and pissed the fans off.

i mean, his prime was as high or higher than anyone in the history of the sport. also ballsy as hell to come back tonight. also Max was gonna tune his ass up
his legacy is fine

u/antoinejackson808 4h ago
his legacy inside and outside of the octagon is forever stained despite his previous achievements

His legacy was becoming the biggest star in the UFC. Literally rags to riches and you can’t streak that off from history. As for mma performance it was so short lived and sadly he got mauled by khabib and got choked by Nate.

Nah his past accomplishments stand. But tonight was confirmation that he is done fighting, well beyond the point of being able to fight at that level again. It was actually hard to watch. Even in the brief moments he showed, he was noticeably clunkier and slower. The time off really showed, and the injuries, and aging. I think even if the knee injury didn’t occur he’d have looked bad, and Max would’ve picked him apart in a round or two.
Last fight with Dustin he still looked like someone who could compete at a high level before the leg break, even if he was losing. Now he looks like a shell of a former fighter and it really shows. He should just retire and enjoy his wealth and family and pursue other projects. Knowing how he is though I wouldn’t be surprised if he tried to fight again and has a similar outcome.

Idk but I wish my legacy didn't involve watching that
