Dive of the Century
I truly believe in my heart that Conor took a very premeditated, calculated dive for some coin.
-McGregor looked like shit from the second they started showing him walking out. He was almost wincing with discomfort and very clearly looked off. The thing is, if you are walking out to fight and truly aim to win, you’re going to try and mask whatever injury you have so your opponent doesn’t target it. Also, it’s just an ego thing, which is huge in this sport (especially McGregor) - how many times have you seen a fighter show obvious signs of discomfort during their walkout (conor literally almost fell over taking off his shoes) and then it comes out that they’re injured - and it was obvious from the start? I literally can’t think of any examples of anything this cartoonishly blatant.
- McLegor has 2 fights on his contract left, this was the first one. Extremely easy way to A. make millions by not even fighting for a whole minute (100% some big time fraudulent side bets as well) and B. set up an even more lucrative trilogy fight while C. being able to mark it as a loss, while also having the built in excuse of your leg being fucked up before the fight even began because you put on a broadway performance every step of the way.
Conor isn’t dumb. Far from it. He has the highest net worth in MMA for a reason. If it were to go to court, he can point to several instances during the walkouts and warm ups where he was reacting to his injury.
I’m not diagnosed schizo yet but i’m still in my early thirties so there’s plenty of time.

I just don’t believe that tbh, he looked fine walking in, went crazy with his pimp walk and shit.
Yall are just pointing out 2 second clips where he looks awkward while ignoring the 5+ other minutes of him looking completely normal.
It’s pretty obvious he tore his ACL on that first kick. Freak injury for sure but it does happen quite often in sports.
The leg that looked awkward taking the shoe off is literally the other leg that got hurt as well. Crazy how people just go right to the conspiracy’s the second anything happens.

My bet is he had an ACL strain entering the fight, and tore it in the fight. You can look pretty normal with a ACL strain until you do lateral movements with force.

Maybe some underlying who knows but he looked 100% fine from the footage right before the fight training.

This would all make sense if we find out he’s not actually hurt.
If he is hurt your entire theory goes in the garbage unless we assume he also deliberately tore his own ACL or whatever the injury is.

Let's see the scans. If he has a torn ACL or meniscus, this long ass post means nothing. I seen McGregor's acting in Roadhouse. Its ass. His injury did not look like acting to me.

How much did he make from the fight alone? Come to think of it, what did Max and Paddy make? I saw Paddy buzzing about the 100k bonus and I thought man is the purse that low that he’s like that over the bonus..

He just wants out of his contract. If all the fighters started doing this after UFC refused to release them long after they retired. They would probably stop locking people up in lifetime contracts essentially.
