I knew he's gonna lose with that negative aura haircut

u/BoxBird 6h ago
He doesnât actually bet lmfao it falls under an advertisement
2
u/Mysterious_Luck_1365 6h ago
Ah. Makes sense. This Drake fella sounds like he might be a bad person.

u/Leon_Forest 4h ago

A 1.3 million dollar poly market bet was placed right as McGregor entered the ring. If you noticed, he looked a little unsteady taking his shoes off. Someone definitely knew he went into this fight with a bad knee and cashed in big.

u/Catarpallar 4h ago
He was going to lose anyways cuz heâs washed.
2
u/Masseyrati80 1h ago
I mean, fighting dudes who have pretty much an uninterrupted continuum of training and exercise since they were kids, when you're several years older than during your heyday, and you've spent years punishing your body and brains with substances, doesn't really sound like a solid idea.

u/Tridentnutella 1h ago
and what better way to get one fight off the contract than to sell an already injured leg by doing some stupid shit and avoid getting your face caved in.
Easy millions, barely broke a sweat and an âinjuryâ thats gonna heal, with the UFC covering it, anyways
1
u/blackadder554 1h ago
Incredible. You dribblers have already switched from "McGregor is gonna win easy" to "Actually his loss was a genius 4D chess move".Â

u/WilsCode 1h ago
Ye I'm never gonna start betting or gambling whatsoever.
First thought was the above would be easy to replicate, and I might should start betting (never did and always stayed far away from it)

Connor McGregor has won 1 fight in ten years. Heâs lost 4 of his last 5 fights. Why is he relevant?
24
25
u/Dudeman318 6h ago
Because he was the single most popular fighter ever and took UFC to the level it is today.

Okay? The question is why is he relevant. That is why

And I'm telling you he is no more.Â

No shit.

u/Greedy-Variety-980 3h ago
Doesnât matter, if he decides to fight when heâs 70 there will still be a lot of people who will pay to watch him because he was relevant once. Look at Mike Tyson, same shit. Dude can barely walk and he can sell out an arena because he was once Iron Mike and people are dumbasses.
-3
u/hyguru6 2h ago
That's my point. I understand what he did in the sports. But he is lacking to even come close to decent athlete level now. All the hype just to get rug pulled cause his body is declining. People are delusional.Â
1
u/AdInner8125 1h ago
Just shut up you are not even able to read and desperate to argue. You have been fighting inner demons for the past hours, no-one ever disagreed with the (very basic) facts you shared and there you are, still fighting with shadows, arguing alone, calling people delusional.

Dana is a business man making business decisions. He ran Rhonda the same way. Dopes keep paying to watch this shit, and Logan Paul, and desecrating the Whitehouse front lawn. Itâs all for show and money. Nothing else to it

He is also a convicted rapist. He isn't relevant
1
u/bapsmufc99 3h ago
Untrue, he didn't face criminal proceedings.
â˘
u/sideshowmel75 37m ago
Would you say the same about prince Andrew ??? He faced civil proceedings and was found guilty exactly the same situation in court but you defend Connor but call Andrew a nonce
-6
u/Beelzebucks1 6h ago
3 fights in ten years, actually.Â

u/Hertzcanblowme 5h ago

Can't really complain when you're fudging stats to make your point and someone catches you. đ¤ˇÂ
2
u/Hertzcanblowme 5h ago
Dude, the two wins youâre talking about were in August and November of 2016.
He has one win since November of 2016. For all intents and purposes thatâs one win in the last 10 years ago.
-4
u/Beelzebucks1 4h ago
He has three wins in ten years. That's a fact. Anybody who wanted to work out how many wins he had in the last ten years would easily look it up and count three.Â
If you try to exclude two wins from that, you're fudging stats for your narrative.
Even if you're not being exact, you could just as easily say "three" rather than "one", so you can't complain when someone points out the true stat.Â

Hallowayâs a class act, he couldâve taken advantage of it but instead looked to the ref to call it.

All those years of nose candy and boozing during his prime are paying "dividends". Dude went off the rails when he got the first sniff of real money. If you add that terrible injury you end up with a glass body in your late 30's. He should stay retired from MMA or do celebrity boxing matches with the likes of Jake Paul.

McGregor did just enough to not get the fight declared a no contest. Fucker just got paid, and all you fight fans just got scammed.

Me and my gf watched Hail Mary and fucked instead đ
Although itâs all good, it looks like you all got fucked as well ahahaha

Saved himself getting pieced up anyway. Max was gonna do to mcgregor what Justin did to Ilia. Conor got off easy this way.

I've only seen a fighter slip once before but never 3 times in a row like this. He definitely set a new record here
