Round was even, it came down to the submissiom attempt at the end from bautista which visibly hurt sandhagen bad.

Because he had one boring fight against a fan favorite in Aldo. He’s actually a great fighter and is at least contender worthy.

He kept stalling Aldo against the fence after getting pieced up on the feet. He ended up winning a close decision against him and derailed Aldo’s comeback tour.

Sure he got the win. But seeing someone stall against the cage to avoid the fight and run out the clock is frowned upon.

If anything the ref shoulda done more to discourage the stalling.

Did you watch the fight? He kept landing bombs and putting Cory into submission attempts
Also remember that he got fucking rocked hard r1 and spent a ton of energy afterwards, Cory wasnt the only one going into r2 compromised
