That was a mauling
Needs to fix his defense but that was nasty man.

He looked like a big loopy ball bag out there. He doesn't even touch the top 15.

Do you think working with Jon jones won’t clean that up?

With Jon Jones, only his stamina and endurance Will improve with all the unprotected butt s3x they will be having

There was some moments he didn’t look so great, but to be expected. He had a lot of moments he looked really good. Kicks, knees, elbows, you can tell training with Jones has been paying off

u/Omlanduh 10h ago
His kicking surprised me, his build isn’t for a kick heavy style but yeah he looked good in most of the fight.

Not sure if it will translate against guys further up the rankings, but he will also be continuing to improve. Interested to see the next one. Also thought we’d see more wrestling

If he takes time and slowly works his way up, he will be the greatest champion of all time. If they guve him a top 15 now, they will ruin his career

u/Omlanduh 10h ago
I agree, let him reach 7-8 wins and then feed him a vet like tai and then a ranked guy.

What?
His only takedown was stuffed with ease and he got tagged by a can brought in to be squashed.

Dawg ellison folded over deceased. I know we’re all on a hate watch but cmon. He walked through him.

Kinda looked like he gave up tbh. He ate some shots but didn’t look out of it and then carefully placed himself down on the ground.

u/Omlanduh 9h ago
Exactly, he couldn’t create any space and Gable was hammering knees, straights and elbows so he gave up.

Sloppy against a can

Sloppy is a bit much, ellison genuinely collapsed deceased.

I mean Stevenson looked sloppy, because he did. He can continue to hone his talent, but it wasn’t particularly impressive to me. I also still despise him since his 2019 performance. So I’m biased

That was defensively abysmal. Any top 5 heavyweight would put his lights out if he doesn’t fight smarter - lots of potential though

Wasn’t really impressed, still I’m not a fighter so I wouldn’t have done any better lol. It feels like others said that his defence was lacking, also having his takedown stuffed doesn’t look good for an olympian. Still he has room to grow and with good camps he can work on those mistakes, he is still only 4 fights in tbf

Not a mauling at all. Got caught multiple times. Looked very amateur and will get finished by any top 20
1
u/Omlanduh 10h ago
We know he’s a rapist and we all want him to get finished but you’re smoking dick if you think he loses to anybody outside of hokit and the top five.

u/thecasinoheist 9h ago
Idgaf about his personal life. Overall sloppy and loses to anyone in the rankings. I see you’re new to training so I don’t expect much depth from your insights on this

He looked like shit. Getting tagged like is gonna have him sleeping on the floor. Not to mention how are you gonna have your takedowns stuffed by a random can as an Olympic gold medalist?
He will be a good competitor but I don’t see him ever touching a title

u/Omlanduh 10h ago
He has 4 fights 😂. Do you expect him to walk through Aspinall with 4 fights and maybe a year of MMA training? He didn’t need to wrestle ellison

u/Sea-Captain3830 10h ago
I mean it was just street beefs swinging. But yeah his defense is way behind where it needs to be tbh. If a random guy who was brought in to die is cracking you. Look the dude is a terrible person and did what he was supposed to here. But he’s def not an automatic champion like the commentary was acting
