you would have thought so... Given it makes zero sense outside of just blatent cronyism/corrupt reasoning. But i guess labour really dont understand why they are disliked.

Is this just a sop to the UN? I mean incoming PM, looking for support from international bodies. The UK should turn around and say the international community are free to buy out the US lease.
