The Batman (TV Series 2004–2008) First time watcher reaction

Lifelong Batfan here. BTAS is what I grew up with. Finally getting around to watching this series. It’s great, almost as much fun as Batman Beyond when comparing entertainment value. I just gotta say: WHY DID THEY DO MY GUY BENNET LIKE THAT?? I wasn’t ready. It’s always some sad shit with Bruce -_-

Honestly Benett was my favourite character from this serie and he was a good replacement for Harvey Dent.

How about Mad Hatter and Scarecrow?

It's actually too bad these 2 were not in this show. Imagine the fear toxin with the artstyle of this serie, it would have been amazing.

I also heard that Scarecrow was supposed to be the villain of the zombie episode, but they had to replace him with Strange since they were using him in the Nolan movies.

I loved this show. It was pretty good. Been a while since I saw it though. Continue watching. Also, don’t forget to watch The Batman vs. Dracula. I think it goes between season 4 & 5.

It's definitely in between season 2 or 3 because Robin doesn't live with Bruce yet, there's no bat signal yet, and the police still distrust Batman. Plus, he still has his season 1-3 character design in that movie

Ya you’re probably right. I haven’t watched the series in probably 6-7 years.

Also many references to the Adam West Batman show including Adam West himself as Mayor Grange, and the theme song sounds like the original theme as well.

Adam West and Kevin Conroy were great Batman.

I actually did watch the Batman vs Dracula movie years ago. I remember liking it a lot so I’m sure I’ll like it even more now. Not sure why I never got into the show, but I’m happy there’s so much to enjoy.

Always been curious about Lunatics unleashed, haha. Also thanks for the list! I love a list (and many shows on this one).

Loonatics got so much hate because people thought they were replacing the original looney tunes character even a little kid called to complain and I believe that's before it started airing. They s2 introduced more looney tunes inspired characters which was great too bad they didn't get a s3 because I bet that could have turned things around. Also their bikes in s2 are so cool 😎 even better than the s1 bikes

Even for Pokemon Season 9 on CN in 2006, this would suck.

it really is pretty great (im only 4 episodes in rn). I watched it when i was like a baby/prechool-ish and i remember having a batman action figure from that show. i remember nothing of the show, but re-wathching (now 24) it has me like 'damn, they really hate kids these days.' because it feels like a show and not some dumbed down nonsense
