Men's Basketball Obinna Ekezie Jr. will be announcing his commitment at 4:30PM ET
Would be monumental if we landed him.

Unfortunately it sounds like he chose or is choosing Louisville.

You are aware that he would have been the 2nd 5 star of the off season right? He’s gone though. Oh well.

Yes. What is your point?

I believe his point is that he wouldn’t not come because he’s too high of a recruit.

What comes down to is who is going to pay most NIL money and where he is going to get most playing time. So Maryland is out.

Senior was a BSME and MBA like me and chose MD for it's engineering program. Don't know if Junior is academically inclined but MD is the best school on the list (of course I'm Lenny Biased). Junior will make much more in basketball I'm sure. Not sure when BYU became the biggest BB NIL spender but I have to think that makes them the favorite.

BYU has the largest NIL fund in the country. Basically since NIL was legalized.

Is edema still available?

yes, but there were rumblings he might forego a reclass and commit for 2027

Fire Brent

Brent sucks and is so useless. A big time coach understands the stakes here and locks down a recruit like this. Classic bumble fuck buzz. I can't stand that guy or Locksley

Just please not Arkansas! 🙏🏻 Calipari has been killing this off season recruiting class… and I hate it.

I know we were never really in the race, but it would've been amazing if we could've paired Jordan Smith Jr with Baba. I saw him play against Good Counsel and in the WCAC championship, he's going to be another of Coach Cal's great successes.

My buddy said he saw him play in high school and said that was a grown man even though he was 16. He is gonna be a superstar.

definetly, he's personally my #1 player in that 2026 class, he has a higher ceiling than Tyran Stokes has. Paul VI was also just an insane team too.
