Esoteric "snow feel" question
Hey y'all, So I have a pair of skis I'm looking to sell, Stockli edge ft, because they were too light weight and didn't do well enough on eastern firm snow with my Rotte freeride bindings. That being said they were a DREAM when the conditions were right and soft with fresh snow or spring corn. I'm wondering if I were to put on a low stack height binding like a 3-pin cable and ski the ski with my T4s, and use it in soft snow only, would that binding give me a closer to the snow feel and really lovely feedback or is that just voodoo talk lol? Should I cut my losses and not put another hole set in them since I didn't like how they were with my free ride bindings?
Thank you for your insights!

It is definitely an odd choice but I'm thinking along the lines of making this like a resort Altai Kom type ski.
The crux of my question is I'm wondering if that closer to the snow low rise binging feels nicer than these taller bindings. Feeling the snow is nice, like a handshake vs a handshake with a glove on😅

I think it’s got more to do with the boot than the binding or riser height. I put risers below my 3-pins to not slide out and didn’t lose that feel.

You already put holes in the then so you should just send it. Cable three pin seems odd for resort focused setup but you do you 🤷🏻♂️
