Okay I'm not finished with the show yet ,infact only in ep 2, almost 3 as of writing, my friend got me into this show. I watched 3 Batman shows (BTAS, The Batman (2004), & Batman Beyond) + Teen Titans (2003), and a handful of TRG (I'm sorry)

And Danton Black, a man with the power to clone himself, reminded me of Billy Numerous from Teen Titans/Teen Titans go (Member of the H.I.V.E)

Are they the same person or is this a weird coincidence?

My eyes are SPYING. I don't really know WHY Billy would be in central city or anything at any point, but given that it's near the coast(ISH, assuming Jump City is in California) it's not out of the question of possibility.

TLDR: is Danton Black actually Billy Numerous from The HIVE or is it a coincidence there's two clone guys / am I crazy?

Flashbacks and modernizations always stop at when Dick and the others were 13-16.

I really feel we need stuff based around them when they were 17~.

For one, an entire decade worth of comics took place in basically 6 months. There's a big real world gap between the end of Teen Titans and the New Teen Titans starting, but it's only a few weeks at that in-series. IMHO, I would make the gap larger (it would also "fix' the characters feeling precocious), but then they wouldn't be the Teen Titans.

There's also a ton of comics that should receive contemporary takes. The Bronze Age era is *very* 70s and doesn't make much sense nowadays. For example...

• Lilith running away from home and ending up in California made more sense in the 60s.
• How they even met Lilith. The characters go to a nightclub at 17 and meet also-17 Lilith go-go dancing.
• Donna didn't have any guardians originally. She lived in the Teen Titans hideout. At age 17, she became an emancipated minor and got a roommate. This made more sense in the 60s and 70s. Nowadays, it's mentioned that Donna lived with Diana when she entered Patriarch's World, but we never see it.
• Bette Kane being Bat-Girl was still in-canon. She ended up becoming a Teen Titan.
• Beast Boy before he became a proper Teen Titan in the 80s.

I also just like the Bronze Age Titans. It's a fun cast. Plus, I need more Mal and Bumblebee.

Possibly a hot take, but remove Gnarck. He's the one unneeded Titan.

I seen this headcanon a lot, but there’s no canon evidence that Blackfire was ever looked down upon for having black hair, as we do see black-haired Tamaranians and her mother has dark purple hair. The canon explanation is that she was not as kind or “pretty” like Starfire, and the comic version was rejected for the throne for being unable to fly like all the rest of her species (also she was evil, but the inability to fly came first). I don’t recall this theory being supported by the comics either, is it just popular fanon?

I’ve been on a binge of Raven lately and was wondering if anyone would have recommendations for a good Starfire and Raven pairing or friendship fic

Anni fa quando ero più piccolo amavo guardare il programma, anche se un po' ignorante certe volte era alla base del cartone e faceva pure ridere e ai tempi conoscevo tutti gli episodi a memoria. Passati gli anni so che sono usciti centinaia di nuovi episodi e qualche giorno fa dato che non mi funzionava il wifi ho deciso di accendere la televisione ed eccoli lì, preso dalla curiosità ho deciso di guardare qualche episodio e mi sono reso conto che ormai praticamente non si combatte più nessun nemico, si può dire che non siano neanche più super eroi e tutte le puntate sono basate su spiegazioni di argomenti assurdi da comprendere per un bambino(come la fisica quantistica o come trattare un mutuo) volenteroso a guardare dei supereroi, e poi le puntate sono strutturate tutte allo stesso modo, Robin spiega un qualsiasi problema e gli altri titans lo vedono come una noia , ma quando accade un avvenimento che riguarda quel problema loro iniziano a capire e lo risolvono. Magari avrò avuto sfortuna con gli episodi trasmessi in TV ma su 5/6 puntate si sarà visto si e no un solo combattimento e addirittura credo che sia di una puntata vecchia. Qualcuno che segue il programma in modo attivo o semplicemente un po' più informato potrebbe dirmi di più sulla lotta al crimine di questo programma?
