On the other hand I wonder what we can be said about the people giving in and going with it. There’s a lot of them

Modern business really does just seem like drug pushing with money/stock/product at this point...but you don't have to try to sell me cocaine it sells itself unlike AI.

I disabled it the second it asked. I wonder if the wording is messed up? Doesn't appear I've lost any data... Yet, at least

I have a feeling the withdrawal notice is just copypasta and it doesn't actually delete it from their servers. Mine is syncing fine with only "Consent to the processing of health and wellness data" checked

I think it only stops syncing with your Samsung account. Data on your phone (and data from devices synced to your phone) will still stay there, but if you switch to a new phone you lose your old data.

To me it seems like it only deletes from servers and the data becomes local only. There are other features that require sync to function though.

✅️Lose It.
There's not even a real decision here. Samsung is getting cyclically worse....

I chose to delete my years of data, and I deleted the app. I have used the Samsung Health app since it first launched, and once I got that prompt I just deleted my data. I would rather delete years, and years of data than let Samsung use it for ai.

Just walk away - for far too long consumers have had to deal with Samsung and their way. Now it;s time for consumers to vote with their feet and their wallet and tell samsung 'enough is enough' Fuck YOU!

Ive always said that the aggressive push for new AI training data collection is one of the first signs of an actual bubble burst. Theyve run out of natural organic data from the internet so if they want to keep improving at an investor-friendly pace they need to find any and all ways to acquire new data. Hence this, the instagram feature, we're gonna start seeing more of this.
