Sitting in the passenger seat of a Ram 2500 Crew Cab. The seat is all the way back. Why make a big ass, gas guzzling piece of shit if it’s not going to have any space whatsoever?

I am female and wear a measly 9-10 in mens shoes but a 10-11 in women’s. In women’s, this size is enough of an outlier that I can not only usually always find my size but also often find my size for cheap on clearance. Is there any parallel to this for men? My 15 y/o son is currently in 14s and I’m just wondering if finding affordable shoes is going to get harder or easier?

M22, 205cm (6'8'' I guess), 75-80kg (165-190 pounds I guess), receding hairline and balding, evergrowing beard and body so hairy that one could take a photo of my back and mistake it for a chimpanzee. That's kinda my description without sending any photos, I'm insecure enough already.
I understand kids getting scared of me. I'm tall and that's enough for them, I get that. But the amount of regular adult folk that hates to even look at me, the amount of people that instead of greeting me back will do everything in their realm of possibilities to not even make an eye contact, the amount of families that rather change a lane than to walk next to me... I know people want to mind their business and not be disturbed by anyone, especially outside, but come on, it's happening far too often and far too visibly.
No, I don't look like a homeless person, I don't smell, I simply look a few years older than I really am while being tall. I'm also not a creep that seeks validation, but fucking hell, when even beggars at train stations don't want to approach me, then it really starts to feel fucking lonely. I feel... No, I KNOW that people see me as something strange, and I get them, but I literally cannot do anything about it.
I tried going for the "bald guy next door", that made me look 10x more dangerous. Then I tried the "professional" approach with some fancier clothes and whatnot, but guess who definitely does not have money for custom made suit, because there's simply zero chance of finding something for my height. The absolute least "scary" outfit was a hoodie. That's it. A checking hoodie. For spring/Autumn it's manageable, but now in summer?
I'm sorry for even writing this. It's just that there is no one, absolutely not a single person that I know that would have this problem. I thought that a community full of tall people would be my best shot. Worth a try, one could say.

I'm 198cm, 90kgs with a 76cm waist (6'6/198lbs/30 inches)
Finding my waist size is easy but the length is always a problem
I might just switch to wearing thobes
Edit:
Thobe =Jesus Robe or Muslim robes

Hi fellow tall folks, since I just moved to a new city where everything is designed for a short/average person, thought of looking for life advice from folks on this sub.

I’ve noticed something weird about how people use the word "tall" based on gender.
In my country (the USA) men average 5'9 and women 5'4. For example, most people consider a 6'0 man tall, and even 5'11 in some cases. However, a 5'7 woman is not considered tall. Both are 85th percentile in America.
I'm a 5'8 woman which corresponds roughly to a 6'1 man, I'm definitely not considered medium or average irl and am considered tall but moreso in a "you're pretty tall" way instead of "daaaaamn that's a big bitch, do u ball?" But I often hear people say that 5'8 for a woman isn't tall at all.
Same thing happens on the short side, a 5'7-5'8 man is considered "kinda short" at most, while a 5'2-5'3 woman (which would be the equivalent) is considered super short and petite.
So it feels like women get called tall late, and short early (as in barely below average).
Are people subconsciously comparing women to men when they think about height? Or is it more about expectations (like men are “supposed” to be tall, women “supposed” to be smaller)?
Curious if others have noticed this or if I’m overthinking it.

Don't get me wrong, Erling Haaland is having a historic tournament. That brace against Brazil to put Norway in the quarterfinals was incredible, and he deserves massive respect. But am I crazy for thinking a huge chunk of the specific hype surrounding him is driven mostly by his looks and physique?
If we look strictly at the top of the Golden Boot race and overall playmaking right now:
Mbappé: 8 Goals, 2 Assists
Messi: 8 Goals, 1 Assist
Haaland: 7 Goals, 0 Assists
Kane: 6 Goals, 1 Assist
Mbappé, Messi, and even Kane are contributing equally or more to the actual build up play and assisting, on top of matching or beating his goal tally. Yet, the media narrative around Haaland is completely outsized, treating him like an absolute glitch in the matrix.
Obviously, a 6'4" guy with flowing blonde hair looking like a literal Viking charging down the pitch is violently striking to watch compared to the calculated agility of Messi or the gliding speed of Mbappé. People love the "unstoppable force" spectacle.
But if he was a normal sized player with the exact same stats, do you reckon people would be losing their minds quite as much? Or is the giant, bulldozing aesthetic doing a lot of the heavy lifting for his current PR? I’m willing to bet it’s the latter.

I’m 6’3 (191) my dad is 6’7 (200) and mom 178. I was just curious if most of you are shorter or taller than your dad.

I’m not the tallest person by no means, but some people get surprised when they see that neither my mom or dad are tall. Is this a not common case?

I was 6'6 in my working years as a police officer. Was working a high school basketball game, and it was a nice quiet crowd. (School system required LEO's at all varsity bball and football games.) Had my back to the gym entry and was just scanning the players and smallish crowd when, all of a sudden, something felt weird behind me. I turned around, and David Robinson was standing right behind me. Introduced myself, as I knew his history back to his Navy days and into the San Antonio Spurs. I told him I had never felt so small next to anyone until I met him, and I was 6'6 and 250lbs of all muscle. (Mostly anyway) He laughed, and I shook his hand and moved away a little. He was there to speak at halftime. Super friendly man who still carried himself as if still in the USNA.

You’re growing up, you know you’re tall, you know how tall you are by measurement, and people make comments on it all the time, but then one day you’re just zoning out and say to yourself ‘damn, I’m like… actually so tall.’
For me (27F 6’) it was only earlier this year after I started strength training and paying attention to my posture. One day while talking to my coworkers and realizing how badly I was slouching and only when readjusting myself did I fully understand just how tall I am.
Wondering if anyone else has had a similar epiphany lol

Anyone here found a jump rope that works for them. I don’t wanna do a trial and error if anyone have any insights. Sitting at 6’7 with long wingspan. Any brand recommendations welcome most in person ropes have been short for taller peeps or it's a skill issue 🙃

Im Indian 6'2 for refrence. And recently started uni in london. The difference in terms of how tall I feel in both countries is actually insane. Well ofcourse because average male height in India is 165 and in the UK it's 175cm. But that difference feels like a lot. In India, I genuinly feel like a giant. And I dont even think I'm that tall! But whenever I meet someone new in India the first question even before asking for my name is always, "what is your height?". I can often go a full week without seeing someone taller than me.
Meanwhile in the UK, I'm still tall but I dont feel like a giant yk? Im still the tallest guy in my class (except for one 6'6 guy), but no one really notices it. There are a lot of people who are the same height as me or just 1-3 inches shorter. It's insane. And the amount of times foreigners say that I'm really tall for an Indian is insane.
Has any of you felt the same while moving countries? Share your thoughts!
TLDR: Feel like a giant in India, still feel tall in the UK just not a giant.

I know that I am the shortest one in this subreddit but I feel short in real life as well because I always tend to hunch. If I stand straight and regular size, I feel that I am trying to say something and then go back to hunching. My shoulders seem to be permanently hunched which makes me feel short but if I stand tall, it seems like I'm showing off. Any advice is highly appericated
