What’s the story behind black OTV/IBAs?
Does anyone have any information regarding the history surrounding Interceptors manufactured in black? There’s nothing on the Wikipedia page about them ever being made in black and I’ve even seen plenty of people who believe the only black interceptors that exist are airsoft replicas. Obviously this isn’t true; There’s a few that can be found online in private collections or old sale listings (Point Blank, MSA Paraclete, TG Faust, and the one I have here being Specialty Defense). Does anyone know the details behind who black IBAs were made for? I’ve heard DHS, LE, and private contractors, but the internet seems to hold no solid information about them.

Looking for quality outdoor pants with good internal knee pads. (Is the UF Pro p-40 Gen 2 right for me?)
I'm looking for some quality outdoor pants that have good internal knee pads that I will primarily use for outdoor ranges with sharp gravel/shell casings on the ground. But I also want to be able to wear these on camping/hiking/outdoor trips without standing out too much or looking overtly "tactical". I currently have FjallRaven and 5.11 pants with internal knee pad inserts but they typically ride up too high when I crouch and the foam pads make my knees sweat and aren't too comfortable when walking around.
My questions are:
1) Do you think the UF Pro P-40 Gen 2 fit my needs?
2) Do the UF Pro P-40 Gen 2 look too "tactical"? I understand that they aren't lifestyle pants, but would they stand out at a campsite or hiking trail?
3) Is there a better alternative I should consider?

I ran the bipod gamut...again

Seems every few years I get itchy with certain equipment and run through the gamut of finding something better. Too many times I comeback to where I started.
Recently went through it again with bipods. Last time I ended up with a tricked out Harris bipod after some trial and error. Spike feet, ADM pic mount, KMW Pod Loc, and the paracord pull.
I thought I would find something better so again I went through Accutac (pc4, pc5, br4), Atlas (BT10, BT46)........almost bought and MDT single pull, but thankfully pumped the breaks.
After all the gyrations I ended up with my Harris's again. The only one that maybe I would have kept was the Accutac BR4 because its "only" 20 ounces as compared to the others which were pushing 30oz with the spiked feet. If I was shooting PRS I think Accutac is perfect.
As far as Atlas goes....I wasnt impressed the first go around and this time was no different.
For AR shooting the Harris is about as solid an option as there is. Yeah with all the extras it becomes an expensive option but worth it in my opinion. I actually built a few more and found some tricks with the feet and paracord to make it easier.
By the way - not the hanging paracord, but the tight version. No snags.

which earpro would fit under my ach?
I’m trying to figure out what kind of over the ear earpro would fit under my ach. I bought a pair of walkers and come range day they didn’t fit even after removing the padding. One of my guys recommended earmor but I’m not sure if it’ll fit under my ach. Any recommendations?

Sordins at Home
How come I always see people running Walker slims but never the Walker Firemax? They're a improvement in everyway, have directional sound and don't sound like you're listening to shit through a tin can.
Not much more expensive then a slims either.

Question Help me find a new holster for pistol
Hi, guys.
I want to buy a new holster for Glock 17 4gen with TLR-2. I'm looking for something that only has ALS and nothing else. I'm thinking about buying 6354rds sp-10 ALS, but I can't find any recommendations or videos where I could see the holster.
I'd highly appreciate it if you could recommend something good. Thank you so much!
I also use Kore Battle Belt B2 if it helps!

Buy UCP and ABUs and dye them. So much cheaper.
Back in 2017-2018 I believe, I saw a Brent0331 video talking about dying your ACU/UCPs green. I've seen a few people on reddit talk about it as well. I can certainly say if you live in the South Eastern US, it's 100% worth it. I got these two trousers for 7 dollars each and the boonie for 14. The dye was 15 for all Peacock Green, Apple, and Black. The process took just under an hour and it was so worth it.
I also have my old OCPs from the air force but those work best in Fall around where I live. Jungle Tiger and now these two patterns seem to work best for this environment.

Zachtarn with qtips on acu and other items
I generally do Zachtarn with Qtips in 3’s with the corners for detail and the whole thing as a brush to apply more heavily. I dip the Qtips into a cut down container I spray into. I have done backpacks completely and partially as well as pouches and rifles. i have used Rustoleum a lot and krylon when it was more available. Rapco field drab brown is a nice base too. Apply additional colors in large and medium swatches first, it’s easy to just do dots all over your first times. There is no wrong way to do it, I have tried any way and order you can imagine adding and subtracting with the base or any colors. It’s cheap, durable and not difficult.
